  • Hey, Hey, Hey! Here I am! (That's my imitation of Fat Albert.) I'm Carole's sister-in-law -- the sweet, nice, dynamic, intelligent, gorgeous one. (I love the Internet. However no pictures will be posted.) I've been a past Weight-Watchers participant but am having trouble getting it going again. I'm 53, and an out-of-work human resource manager with three grown chilren, 4 grandchildren, a traveling husband and a Samoyed dog. I am actually working short-term special projects for a former employer, so I still keep busy. Carole and I became Yanni fans this week after I talked her into going with me to his concert on Tuesday. Neither one of us had ever seen him and neither of us really wanted to go. Wow! What a high energy show. We were surpised!

Otherwise, I like to golf, I bowl when I have to and I make sure to spend a lot of time with my grandchilren. Our youngest son is getting married in August and that dress I'm going to buy will serve as my best motivation.

    Here I go. 64 ounces a day!

  • Pardon my sand!!!!!
Well, Princesses-It looks like we have a good group for a little Beach competition. OOPS! Sorry. I didn't mean to kick sand on you as I passed by!

Ivana B. Thin- The Princess of Goshorn
  • Hi! I'm Dream Catcher - aka Mary Jo. I was thinking about Ivana's comment about when she did this challenge previously, she was in great physical shape. In order to catch some dreams, I am going to have to start some good habits healthwise. I've been married to Al for 28 years and have 3 children - Trish is 25, Tiffany (Married to Matt) is 22 and Jared a high school senior. I work at Hospice (where I met Carole) in the admissions office. My job is good. I like photography, bike rides and the beach.

Drinking 64 oz everyday will be the toughest part of this challenge. I am starting to get my "sea legs" and expect to give ya'll a good challenge.
  • Ilean Machine is definately Queen of a lot of stuff...but she has got a run for her money this time

I too have had a little trouble with the 64 oz. Left 20 for me before bed the other night But am going strong and actually decided to give up fried foods for lent. So far so good!

Boy, sea legs is right -- I'm kind of floating with all this water!

I've hit 64 oz every day, although here it is 11 PM and I've still got almost a quart to go. Time to fill up! Skoal!!
  • New Chick on the Beach
Hello all. I am looking forward to this challenge! I am Carole's niece. As I look to the next week which includes the day that I will no longer be able to say that I am in my 20s , it has made me really rethink my food choices and activity level. Right now, I am a happy 29 year old mother of two boys--Andrew (3) and Jack (7 months). I have yet to lose all that baby weight from the first. Recently, I have done pretty well losing some weight by walking and . But as my name says, I am a big snacker. I drink plenty of water, but those snack foods!!! I teach 3rd and 4th graders who love to share treats with their teacher!

As for hobbies, I enjoy walking and I do a lot of scrapbooking. Summer is a great motivator! Good Luck Ladies!
