Just dropping by to say HI and check in.
Mamacita - I'm gettin' my wild mane trimmed, toned, and touched up tomorrow too. I can't wait
Ruth - DH made split pea soup a couple of days ago. He's got it down to a science!
Anchor - just this week I decided to change my weekly weigh day from Monday to Wednesday. Mondays and scales just don't cooperate.
Barb - that big red number keeps getting smaller and smaller. WTG! and the menus for the week that you post sometimes sounds YUMMY! Keep posting them - they're great for inspiration.
Laurie - IPO is Initial Purchase Offering, like recently when Google went public on the stock exchange and their IPO price was in the stratosphere! As for the tapioca I would probably put it in the "once in a while" category. At http://www.carb-counter.org/cereal/search/Tapioca/2000 it is listed with the cereal, grain and pasta. My hubby likes it too and I was curious, so I found this info about it:
Tapioca is basically a root starch derived from the cassava, or yuca plant. It's often used to thicken soups and sweeten the flavor of baked goods, and it makes a dandy pudding. The thick, fibrous roots are used in a variety of forms: bread flour, laundry starch, an alcoholic brew, and of course, tapioca pudding. As the Encyclopedia Britannica tells us, it was probably first harvested by the Mayans.
The beef rouladens your DH made sound tasty. Usually the stuffed ingredients include mustard, too. That is one of my favorite meat entrees to have over here.
Palm Tree - good going on Phase 1. Remember to drink your H20!!
Goldie - don't worry about the slip, you said the key words "Back On Plan today"
Bamie - sorry to hear about your cousin. Drive safely.
Hello to those yet to come.

I'll be saying prayers for you and your family.

A little ditzy...I'm not really a morning person !
