  • Hi and a yummy idea
Hiya everyone, you've been busy posting and I just got my computer back after some major internet surgery on our system. At last!

So, you all sound busy, sorry Ruth about the pup, that's so hard.

Went out of town yesterday and ate at a gathering after church, had meatballs, but no brownies, rolls, pasta salad or any other yummy looking treat.

I invented a treat today however,

    1 box sugar free jello
    2 cups lowfat cottage cheese
    2 cups FF cool whip

    Mix together and YUMMY!

Anyway, I'm feeling pretty happy about the first week back on phase 1. It was a loss of 5 pounds. Day four through six were pretty awful, just like the first time, grateful to have survived it.

Cold here, I think I'll light a fire in the fireplace and get something going for supper.

Have a great rest of your day.
  • Hey all!

I've done NaNo Ellis! Wrote in 2001 and 2002. Don't knwo if I will get there for this year though considering I am out here and not all that computer acessible.

    Rock on!
  • RNmom -- that treat sounds great -- I love new, easy ones like that! YUM!

  • Hey RNMOM for years I have mixed jello and coolwhip never added cottage cheese so that should be a nice change. I used to eat alot of it when I was on WW. Now I just have to remember portion control! teehee! Thanks for sharing.
  • Hi
    Well Hi everyone!

I am into the fourth day of Phase 1 and a few things have become glaringly apparent to me.. Firstly just how much bad carbs and sugar I was consuming beforehand. Secondly, how much incidental eating I was doing. As a mum to a two year old, I feel like I am always preparing meals. I have had to stop myself so often over the last few days from just grazing on food while I prepare my daughters meals and snacks. I am pretty shocked at how much additional food that I snack on during the day - or should I say did ... Also I really feel much better without the huge sugar highs and lows. My moods seem to be more even and I dont get that brain fog that settles in in the afternoon.

I hope that everyone is having a great day,
    Cheers,
    Marianna
