Kristin, our land is still open to fil's land and we have a man that mows it and gets to keep the hay from it during the summer which means we can claim it as ag land and we get better insurance and tax benefits from it. The house we're in is an old farm house that we had moved here when we bought it. Dh is trying to get into real estate investment and this house is totally paid for so he wants to find an acre or so somewhere to have it moved to, fix it up and sell it. That will be a while in the future when the $ allows for us to. Until then, I think dh will turn this into his office after we have the house built. I told him he doesn't get my office, ha ha!!! You're not being nosey at all. We're all friends right? We're building our new home almost directly in front of this one so it shouldn't be bad to make an office out of. But time will tell exactly what we do.
Sounds like everyone is doing well. I've put away some laundry, made some tea and have more laundry in the dryer. Dh didn't have lunch until after 2 so that throws my dinner off until around 6. I think I was making chicken cordon bleu, so we'll see.
