Long day at work. Lunch for 25 today and then had to stay to work our booth at the county fair. Interesting as always. I swear one gentleman greeted me with "How do" tonight. Sweet! Most of the time I just love people, most of the time!

Anagram! You are my hero! Happy returns of the day! When I I celebrate my 68th birthday and they ask me why I am busier at 68 than 48, I will say because of women like my mother and Anagram ... that each day is a fresh chance to make a dream reality.
And yes, I agree, early am alone is my FAVORITE time of the day...

I was thinking of you lots yesterday as I read about a green/red spinach/green the Chinese use as a green but we use here mostly for its beautiful color called "Aramath"... this green is supposed to have more protein than soy... always thought you had named yourself for the grain but now am wondering......?

Arabella.. maybe if you only experimented w/ some of the seeds? That way, if nothing comes up, you'll still have some for spring...I just read how Chinese snow peas will grow inside in indirect light so well that you need to pick nearly every day ... You know I am plotting which window to use!

DS got very lucky in court yesterday. Probation, a driving course (that he must pay for) and court fees ... Dh went w/ him and they witnessed many 2nd time offenders get jail time... no matter what ... ( one woman had just begun a new job.. too bad, 2nd offense DUI = 60 days) DS seemed impressed ... we'll see ....

Hee hee-- the kissing booth! Very cute!

Haw! Nothing so exotic as the kissing booth, just a plain old information booth about my workplace. Hey, I'm very grateful I didn't have to kiss any of those grizzled old cobs wandering around the fairground, believe me! I don't mean any harm, but the fair really brings them out of the hills!!!!

One more day to make lunch for the art class and then maybe it'll be easier to get back on track. I love making lunch for them but I always end up eating too much because I dine with them. I know I don't have to, but it seems the hospitable thing to do.

Fly-by. So much for horoscopes! Life seems harder, if anything, since the 15th. Bah! I know it's because I'm not responding to my needs, but trying to ignore them and just work. And I'm depressed over the end of summer and the fact that I only made it to the beach a couple of times. And the fact that that seems pretty typical in my life now. I'm not happy with the way things are. Maybe I'm unhappy enough to actually try to change? Jumped out of Core yesterday afternoon --- it's so predictable: I feel my needs are really not being met, ignore some more, find myself stuffing my face. Well, that's addiction, isn't it. Substance abuse. I'm going to finish my tea, go do some qi qong and then go for a run. I will not try to get more work done this morning than I can comfortably do while also having time for myself.

This afternoon I'm interviewing an artist who's in the process of losing her vision. She paints the most beautiful, dream-like paintings. There's a lesson there for me.

Sorry for the me-meness! Hope the post-15th energy kicked in better for all of you! I'm going to make a major effort to do my part towards it today.

Speaking of me ness.... ME TOO!>... was really tired last night but thought it was too early to go to bed... should have... had 3 peanut butter sandwiches instead... I now realize that forgetting my lunch at home yesterday had me eating oatmeal 2x yesterday ... could be why I just couldnt stay away from the PB later... also, DH goes out on Thursday nights...

Lesson learned... better to go to bed too early...
