  • I thought I had lied a little more but mine is only off by 35 lbs from my highest weight (the license says 340 and my highest was 374). But it makes me realize that now I'm off the other way -- I'm 292 so I'm almost 50 lbs lighter!
  • Looks like mine so far has the farthest difference. Mine has had 165 on it since I got my permit when I was 15 1/2. Even then I lied and it was about 10 pounds off. At my highest (317) there was a 152 pound difference. Now I've got 97.5 pounds to get rid of before my license has my true weight. You can bet that once I do reach goal my license will find a nice new dumpster somewhere and I'll be getting a new one. (I renew this December and won't renew again for another 4 years and I WILL be below 165 before then!!!)
  • I thought I would check mine to since this seems so interesting! I'm not sure about my drivers lisence but my military ID said 135!! I WISH!! I forgot how skinny I was when we got married! That is a 65 lb difference. You still beat me.

  • Well, when I first got my Mississippi license back in '98, I gave them a correct weight. Then, I lost (actually misplaced) it two or so years later and when I got a replacement, had them up the weight 20 lbs, which was accurate at the time. I had to renew last year and just kept the weight where it was, which is decidedly NOT accurate! Right now, the weights are about 55 lbs. off.

When I worked at K-Mart (for less than a month!) in college, I learned that most overweight people lie on their driver's license. The weight of choice is 125#.

Beverly, have you ever had a problem with people not believing that you are the person on your ID? Has anyone ever had that happen to them?
  • I could never imagine putting something like 125 lbs on my drivers license. The reason I put 250 (and when I got it, it was 50 lbs off), is because 250 means a big girl, just I'm a bit bigger than that
  • Mine says 249. Exactly what I weighed at the time. I was proud to have lost the weight that I had and I figured putting down my real weight was an incentive to lose more of it. So, I totally lose this contest.
  • Mine says 260. I was about 280 at my highest, so it wasn't that far off. Really, I wasn't weighing then, so I didn't know. Actually, I might have even been about 260 when I got it!

I'm not sure if the weights matter. I mean, men estimating the weight of even a fairly large women (like 350+) are likely to guess 200 pounds, thinking they're right.

Maybe that's what I should put on my next license, 200 pounds...
  • Actually, my ex boyfriend was always trying to pick me up, I thought he was crazy. One day I asked him how much he thought I weighed, he said around 200 or so. I suppose he was trying to be safe as well as having no clue.
  • My drivers license says 73Kg (161 lbs).. When the picture was taken, I was around 190lbs.. Oh god, I would love to look like this again Here it is:

  • i still have the weight of my permit on my license. it says 135 which is about 10 pounds more than i actually weighed at the time. my highest weight was 272.8.
  • MY DL says I weigh 160 (I weigh 230) so... 80 pounds off
