  • Hi everyone,

Its a lovely 55 degrees here today with a nice choppy wind and rain. I am happy as I just put some plants in the ground and now I don't have to water.

Tomorrow I get to work from home as federal facilities are closed. I can't say I'm bummed as they turn off the HVAC and its unbearable in here. I have software, a laptop and a paper to write. I can also work in my yoga pants, it's really going to be casual Friday.

Melissa -- congrats on your anniversary and enjoy Pittsburgh. I'm up for adding 10 minutes more a day to my exercise schedule. I barely got in 15 today, so I'll be walking outside or doing something for another 30 today.

Pam -- I was joking about CT. I do think it would be a pain to stop, get out of the car, assess the site and move on. Site planning and location are quite crucial. Do you work for a company that franchises?

Domina -- How many plays are you in a time? I can't remember anything these days unless I write it down. Maybe I need gingko.

Hey did I tell you guys that I am going to Germany next week? Yikes. I am soo not looking forward to travelling again and its a super short trip. Oh well, at least I get to see my uncle, aunt and cousins and my bro and my dad. I miss my mom after spending all that time with her, so it should be fun if not exhausting.

    okay, gotta find some data.

  • The weekend is almost here. I have some golf planned and a trip to our local flea market. Sometimes it's just fun to people watch there. Also, DH and I will visit our niece who is at college in Orlando. Of course, I have rehearsal too.

Melissa, you're right, you can get the humidity just like we do. It just doesn't last as long. Congrats on 5 years at goal. I'll be at 2 years next month.

    Everyone have a good weekend.
  • Hi everybody,

I'm in at work for a bit, though I am taking my files home to write this paper for a meeting. I have nothing exciting planned other than hitting the drycleaner, jewellers (ring I bought needs resizing) and Trader Joes. The dog wagged at me this am and was excited when I told him he would be supervised all day.

I tallied things up -- the dog is getting approximately 3 servings of vegetables a day --carrots, green beans, snow peas), I'm getting about 2. This is not good.

Oh, and if anyone wants to PM me, I'll share with you the link to my photos from my trip!
