  • Leenie - I just tried something I saw on the atkins thread. Have you tried this yet?

    2 tbsp heavy cream - 1
    w/4 tbsp water
    1 splenda & some drops of vanilla

    YUMMMMMMMMMY
    I really have been wanting a glass of milk and this hit the spot - kind of like sweet milk or melted ice cream! I am licking the bottom of my glass right now!
  • Hi again everyone

    I started back at FitDay again to see just how many calories I am eating & if I am meeting my nutritional requirements.

    Cathy.....still not feeling good....sore throat & the rest that goes with it. I called my sister this morning....she asked me if it was me.....I am real hoarse....DH has the same thing......so we can keep each other company...lol.

    DH & I went to a late matinee yesterday.....we finally went to see Cold Mountain.....it was good...I had read the book.....it was mostly like the book.....then we went out for dinner.....my eating hasn't been very good the last 2 days.....today I am back on plan.

  • Aww cute pictures You know what Lynnie, my first 10 years of marriage we hardly spent anything on each other, we didn't even go on vacation, okay its 14 years now and no vacation, but to tell you the truth, I don't miss it. As long as we have each other thats what matters, and alot of people just don't understand how we can not spend thousands on a vacation, they look at us like freaks... I tell em to take a picture it last longer lol.

    Cathy I didn't log anything into fit day today, I was really busy. I went shopping made the broccoli, bacon & onion dish, cooked a turkey, laundry, cleaned up.

    But I can tell you approx what I had. For breakfast I had some real pork bacon, I was picking at it since i cooked it for the brocolli dish. Lunch I had cucumbers and blue cheese dressing, some pepperoni & cheese. For dinner I had turkey, broccoli and cauliflower mix, green beans just 2 fork fulls,and some left over mock taters a few table spoons (thats all there was left lol ). I did pick on maybe 3 pork rinds and thats about it. Oh and 1 tky sausage lol.

    Tomorrow I will log in my stuff into fit day and here.

    How did you make out your first week? are you going to weigh yourself ?
  • sounds good leenie! yes I'm gonna weigh in the morning. I don't have unrealistic expectations cause I know how I am, but I'm gonna check the scale anyway.

    Honestly, the week has not been bad at all. And I have felt good. Which kind of makes me wonder....like shouldn't I be feeling bad on the first week of atkins?

    Lynnie - great pictures! ya'll look very happy! and look! we can see the weight loss already in your face from the picture on your avatar! wow that's great!
