Weigh and measurement morning is over and
I've got a loss of 4.6 pounds for the month and 1.25 inches has vanished from my hips
what is working....the 8 minute abs I love that....and consistent yoga
where I need to improve.....more weight workouts and increase the days I walk the dog....
Overall a nice step in the right direction
Took a well deserved two days off of exercise but still ate right...I felt comfortable taking a rest instead of having a treat meal for my reward for success...
walked the dogs tonight for 30 minutes
1302 + 30=1332
Goal minutes for Feb for me 1400
35 minutes candlelight yoga and 8 minutes abs
1332 + 8 + 35=1375
35 minutes yoga and 30 minutes weights
1375 + 35 + 30=1440
Have went in early every day this week but still staying active every day if only for a little bit.....major accomplishment for me not to make excuses....YES!!! 30 minutes walking dogs today and 8 mins abs yesterday
1440 + 8 + 30=1478
finally have a weekend off so I'm looking forward to getting in some serious exercise over the next two days...as for today

Today was pretty great too...got a new pair of gym shoes so now I can starting working to get ready for my 5k next month or mile walk depending in where I'm at.....was a little sore while walking tonight but I did do a hour of boxing so......no real worries..

Walking was easier today but I still need to keep at it to increase my mileage...right now I'm doing 1 mile at a time and hanging in there.....today's additions
1763 + 8 (min abs) + 15 (mins yoga) + 30(walking the dogs) =1816
Scored a new job today....I start next Tuesday...super excited....better financial position will help eliminate some stress which will cause me to not have stress eating episodes so super awesome

So as long as everything goes alright...I'll be switching from part time to full time work next week...I need to create a solid plan for keeping my exercise on target....what I don't want to do is try and cram a whole bunch of time in on Sat/Sun because I know that is foolish and won't bring about success....so I think a good idea is yoga before work...I realize for me this will be an adjustment...getting up at 6:15 everyday....I haven't done that in years and then 8 minutes abs or glutes alternatively...with 30 minutes of something in the evening....it can be walking the dogs, weights, boxing...whatever...the weekends can bring in a little longer session but also outdoor activity....there is much to be done in the yard this year so gardening and landscaping does get the heart pumping.....I like where I'm at and will just keep growing upon that.....

Saturday is the last day at my old job....was sad to leave so many people I've come to care deeply for but I need to learn and embrace a new life of caring for myself.....

start my new job tomorrow so it will be 6am yoga for me...ouch that will take some getting used to and I am worried about my energy level but we will see how it goes
