  • Michele Hope DH made it OK re driving.

I hear you about the holiday treats. I already have wine and chocolate (2 sets) from two of my cat clients. Normally I don't get gifts from them so it's a nice surprise. Natalie got cat toys too. Her toybox now has at least 50 toys in it - most from the other two cats who didn't play with toys when they got older.

I'm going to find out if any of the animal shelters can use the brand new cat toys. Nat plays with mice and puffy balls and that's it. She has enough of those to last until she's around 10 years old (she's 3 now) and there are all sorts of other cute things that I'd like to donate to the less fortunate kitties.

  • We only have five people in our office, but it is full of gift food. I got a big snack basket last week, three tins of cookies arrived today for the owners who aren't even in our office, the building had a dessert social and gave us stockings of candy. I can't leave my office without blinders. Massage gift certificates would be better!
  • Dagmar-- he did fine. Thanks for asking. He was very tired in the evening but that's not surprising.

Yesterday was CRAZY with food at work. I don't expect today to be any better. Besides the gifts given to me-- caramel popcorn and a big tin of cookies-- I went in the break room in the morning to find platters of cookies everywhere-- saying "Merry Everything". By lunch, they had disappeared, but platters and platters of food had appeared. Apparently they were leftovers from a classes Multi-cultural celebration. Our school is extremely diverse and everyone brought dishes from their countries-- savory and sweet. I put my blinders on!!
