  • Good Sunday morning! I'm finally feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed after an early bed (9) and a sleep-in until just before eight! I guess I was in sleep deficit.

I should have skipped the scale this morning since it seems to have found two pounds overnight! The potluck food was way too yummy and abundant. It was not all eaten but the staff who work their last shift today will enjoy it for lunch.

Today, aside from popping in to the Mill a few times, I plan to make some progress in the house. I will put a binding on quilt #2 so I can finish the hemming during this week, maybe while watching TV. I never turn on the set during the day but this just might happen. Still seriously thinking of sowing some spinach in my raised bed but if I continue to procrastinate I can take that off the list.

Mentally singing "The party's over" as I drift towards September.
  • Good morning,

Today DD2 has a soccer game at 3 p.m. other than that, nothing on the agenda, got groceries and house cleaned yesterday. Went to bed early since I was having cravings and woke up to scale moving down.

Karen Happy Anniversary to you and DH glad you are getting to spend time together today

    Cottage have fun shopping today

Debbie hope work goes by quickly for you today, enjoy your morning

Jekel have fun at the concert today

Ruth glad you were able to get some good sleep in. Enjoy your day

    Have a great day everyone!
  • Good morning. I guess DH needed to sleep in too so I just used the time to read on my kindle. I really love that device and the instant gratification of being able to load the next book in a series as soon as you finish one.

We have another beautiful sunny day but the weatherman say the week will be hot. It's some sort of karma for the powers that be deciding to start school before Labor Day.

Happy Anniversary, Karen. Enjoy your dinner out.
Jennifer, enjoy the concert. Sounds like fun!
Linda, I love any kind of kitchen store. I think it's because I love food so much.
Ruth and Pearlrose, enjoy some down time today!
Debbie, your pot of hot water sounds like something I would do!

Not sure what is on today's agenda; maybe a drive into the Adirondacks. But first more coffee!
