Kim - Congrats on the baby decision. I am 30 and the Hubby wants to wait until Jan 2004. I am ready now (emotionally) but I am going to try to use it to my advantage to get some of this weight off. Now let me just say...even though the Hubby isn't moving the date up (which I would LOVE) he sure is happy about practicing
!!!!Jess - I swear they need to send out memo's on "cube etiquette". I sit around 4 loud-mouths myself and haven't said anything yet. Once though...I sent a confidential email to their managers and it got quiet for a bit...but I need to send another one. It is making me nuts!!!
Humber - Welcome to the group. I am a former Lifetime member who lost 33.5 lbs. and kept it off for 2+ years. This board was my daily motivation to stick to program...so stick with us! Now, the reason I am back is because I got married and slowly put the weight back on. Mostly because I got lazy and stopped going to the meetings etc. Next think I know...I am at the beginning again. My advice to you is this: Small steps. Aim for 10 lbs...rather than 80. That is too much. I always take the 10 lbs incriments because I look forward to seeing a new number on the scale. For example; I am currently 160, down from 170. I was so happy to see that number "6" in my weight...not to mention that 10 lbs usually means one dress size. So I go out and buy myself one outfit that I feel fabulous in and that keeps me going. One think I learned is that this game is mental...so find your way to make it less daunting and you will be successful!
Ok, I have to jet. Catch everyone tomorrow.
