  • Rennie: Thanks for the welcome. I've decided on an exercise goal of 50 miles for April. Does anyone feel that the weight goal that the doctor wants you at is unrealistic? My doctor wants me at 135 max and to me, that just feels so skinny. I'll be happy to hit 175 (69 lbs from where I'm at now) and then, see how I feel about my weight.
  • borrowed the format (except I weigh in on weekends too) Looking forward to hopefully breaking out of this long long stall!

    Week 1
    01. ~ 189 ~ exercise today was a 6 mile walk outside
    02. ~ 188.2 ~ six miles outside today. Tomorrow is going to be an inside day, ice and rain coming!!
    03. ~ 188.2 ~ Leslie Sansone 5 mile walk with resistance bands.
    04. ~ 187.0 ~ another cold yucky day here so walking inside with Leslie! 5 miles.
    05 ~ 189.4 ~ grocery shopping and errands all day no walk
    06 ~ no weigh in today, also no exercise yikes!

    Week 2
    07. ~ 188.4 ~ going to walk outside today!! Sunshine and snow Done 5 miles on my very hilly route.
    08. ~ 188.4 ~ going to walk outside today. Did 6 miles outside.
    09. ~ 188.4 ~ 5 mile walk outside would have been longer but a german shepherd scared the bejeebers out of me.
    10. ~ 188.6 - 6 mile outside walk got it done early cuz rain is headed our way :P
    11. ~ 187.6 6 mile walk outside on my hilly route.

  • Summer, I'll try that exercise goal with you 50 miles (brisk walking) My ideal weight is supposed to be 118-132 I think. I know for sure I'd look sick at 118 but I want to see what I'd look like at this age and 135-140. My ultimate goal is 132 so we shall see. 150 was my original goal but I would still be in the overweight category and I don't want to be.

  • love2b150 I always weigh everyday, I NEED to or I'd never stay on plan. I just keep forgetting to post! Hoping this month will be better!
  • Can I join in?!? I weigh daily too...this could be another accountability besides the challenge I joined.

  • Rennie: Mine will be a combo of the treadmill and stationary bike. I went this afternoon for a while and managed to get 3.6 miles on the bike and 0.74 miles on the treadmill. Hopefully, I can keep that part up. I'm also tempted to do the C25K program and see if that helps as well.

    Summer, You are starting the month off great way to go! I have started C25K so many times it's crazy You go Girl

    I am starting the month off with a .6 up to 163.2. I seem to start each month off with a higher number than I ended the previous month with most of the time. But it's still lower than last months start weight so I should be happy. I also got 8 hours of sleep for the first time in about a month and still woke up tired. This body is just crazy.

    Well I hope you all have great weigh ins today and I look forward to chatting with each of you

  • Thanks love2b! I was surprised, feeling like it was an April fools joke and tomorrow it will be up again. I got to walk outside, and it was cold out there but it really energized me
