The ONLY con dogs have is their shorter life. I'm reminded of the Josh Billings quote: "A dog is the only thing on Earth that will love you more than it loves itself."
Being a dog lover myself, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Like I said, it was the right thing to do, but that did not make it any easier.

Our other 2 dogs are still a bit bewildered about why he left and did not come back. But they are getting better.

I'm also feeling better. Still sad, but it's ok.

He had a good life, was treated well, and didn't have to suffer any lingering illness.
