  • Sorry, guys! I finished a round of the Super Shred and haven't had a chance to check in. I lost 23lbs! I was never really hungry. I feel like my blood sugar stayed regular, so my mood was pretty good and I had energy. It really gave me a good jump start. I think the biggest benefits were getting used to preplanning my meals, adjusting to the portion sizes, and losing the sugar/carb cravings that I usually get.

I'm not on the plan anymore, but I'm still using the lessons learned about portion control, using nutrient dense foods, and spacing out my meals. As a result, I'm still losing. The only thing I'm still working on is fitting in workout time. Now that I've got the food angle seemingly conquered, I've got to work on the exercise/strength training angle.
  • first off, I'm new to this forum so....hi
I'm on the last day of the first week. I've lost 5lbs so far (yeah I weighed before the 7 days...oops...but I weigh myself every 4 day anyway)
It's ok, I enjoy the variety. I have been hungry a bit, but it's not terribly unbearable. I'm just taking it one day at a time. I don't drink the tea, and I know I need to drink more water. As far as the exercise... It's been hit out miss sometimes it's 0 And sometimes it's 60mins
Personally, every time I've been successful At weight loss it's been when I had Support. I would love to start a support group/thread if anyone is interested?
  • Hello I'm also new to the forum. I have actually been on Jenny Craig and have lost 45lbs so far but I've hit a plateau! So I thought I'd give this a shot and hopefully get over the hump! I just started it today and have a question. On the book jacket it says week one has 4 meals and 3 snacks but in the book under week one's section it only mentions 4 meals and 2 snacks. Have I missed something somewhere? I did find that from meal 2 to 3 and then 3 to 4 was a little hard. I felt a little sick in between meal 2 and 3 so I went ahead and ate a little earlier than I was supposed to.

  • I haven't heard of this diet; but from what I am reading here, I don't think it is for me. My life makes it difficult for me to adhere to too many rules; yet, too much flexibility allows me to cheat too much. I need something in between. That's why I like intermittent fasting.
