  • IAN... WOW that is just terrific for you! Just think how far you have come. Did you ever think, even 2 months ago, that you would be a "runner" and a darn good one! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME,.. Just think Sheriff IAN you can run down the bad guys now!
  • Wow, you've advanced quickly as a runner!
  • Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. For all your words of encouragement. I couldn't have stayed on this without you all.
  • YAY!! enjoy it so much! I'm jealous!! (sidelined by knee problems)
  • Sorry to hear that Susie. Truth be told, I have to watch one of my knees too. I think my heavier weight put some strain on the joint and it is sometimes sore after running. When it is, like now, I have to put running on hold for a day.

    Ian,

ICE IT after a run for about 20 minutes, it's helping me. Also get on a good joint supplement like Glucosamine and Chondroitin and maybe some anti-inflammatory supplements and hopefully you'll be able to avoid what i'm going through! But i also have fibromyalgia and possibly RA.

But yea, it is a rush and a thrill with that cardio, makes you feel on top of the world
  • That's amazing!
  • Congrats, Ian! I hope you were wearing the suit and had superman spandex on underneath!!
  • Congrats!!!
  • Fantastic!!!!! That's a great time!
  • Awesome! Out shooting your longest run by a whole mile is amazing!!
  • Thanks everyone and ReillyJ for the supplement idea. I will look into that.
