BTW, bought wellness underground book, finished it in 2 days, enlightening. Am also reading "Mastering Leptin".

I started on Synthroid about 6 weeks ago, but after the reading I've done (2 books, 1 by a doc and the other called Stop the Thyroid Madness), I'm not happy I was prescribed Syntrhoid. It just tells me my doc really doesn't understand what is happening & is just going with what the pharm industry is telling him.
I went for my blood re-test last Thurs. I'm waiting for my email of the results & if I don't hear from my doc, I'll call the office. I don't want to just be "in range" I want to be optimal. I want normal thyroid functioning again and if he can't get to the cause of it, I'll find someone who will. There's a reason this happened at age (almost) 50.
I LOVE Sean's blog and podcasts. He has the most informative folks on! I haven't read his book. Right now I'm reading 8 steps to a Pain-Free Back by Esther Gokhale. She's a rebel. Rebels are my fav.
