    D: cup turkey chili w/ 1/4 cup yogurt and baked kale or steamed broccoli
  • Phase 1.5 (fruit, no grain)

    Omlette w/ Tbacon, broccoli & RF cheddar
    Glass of skim milk

    Salad w/ romaine, onion, pine nuts, tangerine slices & italian vinegarette

    Ham w/ pineaple chunck (I know, I was being bad)
    Green Beans
    Glass of skim milk

    Cucumbers w/ lf herb and garlic cream cheese (when I am munchie later on)

    boy oh boy was i just so lazy and fed up from having to prepare and go shopping and cook all the time we have a tiny fridge & a freezer compartment the size of a teenyweeny drawer, so I am constantly cooking & have to buy groceries in increments or they go bad. Luckily, it's been so cold I can store stuff on the balcony!
    German appliances grrrrrrrrrr.
  • Jandaman, THANK YOU very much!! I appreciate it! I clearly miss Germany way too much....your mention of a tiny fridge and, I imagine, smaller-than-a-shoebox freezer made me feel heimweh!!!

    Last night I went off plan by eating 32 salted roasted almonds. Not a major sin...but an important reminder that anything salty+crunchy is not safe in my house!

    Today I am back on plan:
    B: cottage cheese w/ blueberries and COFFEE with skim
    L: egg white omelet with low-fat feta and 2 pieces whole wheat toast and coffee w/ skim
    S: 2 LC with 7 walnut halves
    D: TBD, going to friend's birthday celebration. Let's hope there are "clean" protein and veggie choices. Otherwise, I'll eat when I get home.

    D: Huge salad from Whole Foods - veggies galore!
    S: Brown rice chips and salsa (at a friend's party, brought my own)
    S: RF cheddar slice, grape tomatoes
  • B: 1 egg + 2 eggs' whites, LC, coffee w/ skim, 1/4 cup blueberries
    L: turkey burger, 2 whole wheat slices, string beans
    S: LC w/ 7 walnut halves
    D: TBD turkey chili or veggies w/ hummus (not sure I can be trusted to portion-control hummus, but I'd like to have something other than turkey!!!!)
