Anyone else only getting weighed monthly?

  • My center requires me to weigh in twice a week... and, like you, I want to celebrate a loss (with food) or get so darn disappointed at lack of loss that I want to comfort myself (with food)... maybe I could just ask them not to tell me? HA!

  • My trainer is in charge of weighing me, and at first he did it once a week but skipped the last few weeks.
    I was dying to jump on the scales but I promised him I wouldn't weigh myself without him there.
    I honestly think once a week is fine because it works as encouragement, but once a month is the best because you definitely see a loss.
    Treat yourself to other things instead of food, like a manicure or a massage or a trip to the cinema. It helps when food is not involved.
