Oh simple pleasures! I would like what some have said, to wear shorts, a bikini or even a bathing suit, and getting a massage definitely. I always felt uncomfortable being touched. My friend is taking me to a spa next Friday, I know I won't have hit goal by then but it gives me some motivation for the next week.
I also want to sit at a friends/ families house without reaching for a pillow to cover my gut!

Omg cosplaying! Totally forgot about that. I never wanted to cosplay much before but now I have a list a mile long! I cosplayed as Kyle dressed as The Human Kite from South Park (and friends went as the other super heroes) for New York Comic Con! For Halloween I dressed as Sailor Jupiter! I probably would have cosplayed as Kyle but I NEVER would have had the courage to go as a sailor scout before!

I have a huge cosplay list too, but unfortunately it's an expensive hobby. I've been telling myself that I wanted to do Gunner Yuna since I was in high school, though, so I think that's taking top priority for this summer's con season. I did cosplay fat, but naturally it looks better on someone smaller. I would tend to use props to draw attention away from the ill-fitting costumes (por ejemplo, when I dressed as Seras Victoria from Hellsing, I made a Harkonnen cannon taller than myself).

...It's always such a pleasant surprise when I say something dorky on here and suddenly a bunch of geeks come out to play Yet another reason to love this forum...

I want to wear a bikini. Never worn one in my life. I'd also like an extremely scandalous dress.

And if I travel to a country with nude beaches, I want to be comfortable with myself enough to try it.

I also want a tattoo along my back... gotta get rid of the rolls first.

I want to be able to take a picture of myself and not hate it, dress the way I want to...not worrying about "will it fit?" and I want to wear a speedo with bats on it swimming.

I want to find my sense of style. I feel like there's a particular style that I want to rock but I don't have the confidence to get away with it yet. People say experiment while you're young but I've always hidden underneath clothes instead of complimenting my body and personality with them.

Yaaaay I'm useless in Tokyo like a little lost puppy! I went into 109 and it was too much for me!! I got a few nice things in Forever 21 though but I think it'd be amazing to have an experienced shopping buddy .

People are probably sick of hearing me say this in every thread. But, my 'thing' is that I want to cheer again and actually cheer well! I need to get to 140 pounds before I can even think of joining the adult cheer squad I want to join (link to the site: http://www.londoncheerleaders.co.uk/ Watch the video to see what they do/look like). It also gives me an exercise goal! I want to be flexible and strong and gorgeous!

LucyOlivia- That looks like so much fun! I didn't know they had cheerleading at stuff like cricket. I didn't cheer but I did gymnastics for several years and tried out in junior high. It's a lot of fun if you have the coordination.

Well you could always get the coordination! Especially if you did gymnastics when you were younger! I am not awfully good at gymnastics but if you can dance and you are flexible then it's fine! What did you say your goal was?

Like a lot of you, I also want to wear a swimsuit & feel comfortable and sexy in it. It doesn't have to be a bikini (though that's be nice), I just want to feel like I look good.

I want to be able to shop for clothes and not be sad that nothing in the store fits me. I want to not buy something because I don't like it, not because it was too small.

I also have cosplay goals. For Dragon*Con this year I'm going to do a female science officer from Star Trek TOS. I already have the fabric and the pattern. I just want to see how close to goal I can get before I have to start sewing! I have a list of things I want to do once I'm at goal, including Batgirl, Rose from Doctor Who & Fleur from Harry Potter. Being in shape for D*Con this year (it's the last weekend of August so it is doable) is my main goal/motivation right now! I love seeing other con-goers on here!

I want to also feel and look amazing in a swimming suit. I was recently browsing J. Crew Swimwear and I would LOVE to be able to wear those pieces! I want to be able to do whatever I feel like activity wise and not worry about my body holding me back (like when all my friends decided to do the 50 mile hike on a mountain nearby, and its am extremely hard hike and I knew I wasn't physically able to participate, can hardly even jog a mile without almost dying) but anyway.

A lot of it is vanity, I want to go shopping and pick out the pieces I think are cute and not have to put them back after trying them on because they just don't fit. Im looking forward to being able to wear skirts and dresses and pants and not having those love handles, and thighs rubbing together! Also, Im praying my boobs get smaller. I am a 34DDD or 34E depending on where I shop and I HATE BOOBS. unlike some people, I just hate big bosoms and want my 34B boobs back again haha. but yeah, just like looking in the mirror and being pleased with my hardwork is going to be amazing

Go swimming with my kids without feeling the least bit worried about my legs sticking out.
Wear a very attractive dress for my husband (who tells me almost every day how much he loves my curves which I appreciate immensely, but I want to look really HOT for him )
Just the overall feeling of being comfortable in my own skin. Feeling "contained" instead of "hanging out"

I don't feel that my weight holds me back from doing the things I want to do, even though I'm teetering on the morbidly obese line. I go hiking, wear bikinis, shorts, and anything else I want. I'm not worried about what other people think of my body. However, I AM looking forward to better fitness in general - I am SO MUCH slower than my husband (who is literally less than half my size) when we do active things. I can't wait to not have to ask for extra breaks on a long, long hike!
