  • im so glad i posted about my agoraphobia. im pretty uncomfortable letting other people know about it but im amazed at how many of you know what im talking about and also suffer.

agoraphobia can be a VERY isolating and its nice to know that there are others. ive struggled on and off since i was 14. ive been on about every medication in the world and finally settled on what seems to be the best option. my anxiety is still severe. i am *functional* to a degree at this point. i can go anywhere within about 5 minutes of my house without a problem, but anywhere else makes me nervous.

actually had to drag my boyfriend from his moms house early on thanksgiving because i was starting to come unglued. the ride home was *rough*
  • One of my limitations is quite severe anxiety especially around driving. It's wierd because I used to drive for a living as a Community Physiotherapist but since I had to give up work due to menatl health problems, driving is one of my ongoing issues.
