Ohhh interesting... you just put cucumber slices in water? Hmm... I bet that would be good with sparkling water, too.

Never have tried it with sparkling water - Great idea!
  • Hmm... I mostly just drink water and coffee. We do have coke zero sometimes too but try not to keep it in the house much. I use to drink smoothies but I found they weren't filling enough for the calories.

I also try to eat fruit if I'm in one of those moods(especially something really juicy like melon).
  • I get the same way. Sometimes I'm just watered out.
I don't do any artificial sweeteners, at all... so all my old favorites like fresca and crystal light, etc are out! AH!
This means I usually use up the 70 calories and drink one of my kids capri sun juice pouches. LOL They're small, but enough that it just gives me that flavor that I am craving.
Once every two weeks or so I give in and have a Snapple iced tea of some sort.

Other than that it's milk in my cereal and occasionally a small, 4 oz, glass of OJ.
  • I second the cucumber. I slice it thin on my mandolin. It and any juices I collect goes into a pitcher with a lot of ice, and then fill with cold water.

It so amazingly refreshing in the summer, especially as a break from gardening.

I also bring powered lemonade and ice tea (although rarely these days) watered down about 4-1. Almost everything gets watered down with me.
  • I love iced green tea. I usually sweeten it with Splenda.
