  • Quote: Keep you head up. Try uping you water intake and eliminate sugar and caffine for a couple days. It might just give you the jump start you need. I too am hovering around 200 and there are days I want to beat the scale into submission. It will all come in time. Everyday is one day closer and with every step (injured or not) you just lapped the people still on their couches. Good luck!
This! Or if you aren't lifting weights/resistance training, try adding that into your exercise routine. When I shake up my exercise a little bit I tend to drop weight.

If you're injured though, take a break for a week because that little injury can end up a BIG injury. I had muscle pain really bad last fall from doing a lot of leg work and jogging intervals last fall. I took breaks but it wouldn't go away..it would start up every time I'd start jogging again. My dr. said the muscle fatigue made my bones have to work harder and I ended up with a stress fracture in my femur. Couldn't really do much for leg work the last two and a half months. Talk about frustrating!!! Take it easy and work on diet (easy for me to say, lol...it's a huge struggle for me too!). Good luck!!!!
  • I feel the same way as everyone here... I really want the 200s to be a very distant memory... I seem to keep coming back here, and its getting me down. Now I am starting over again, and I am at 201... Its a dream, but one that will happen. I think I will need to be nearly 50lbs away from the 200, before I start to feel like I am really away...

So here we go again This time with more weight training and less pasta!!
  • You know what? I had to stop the stressing over it. Stop thinking and worrying about it and just keep on keeping on and finally i'm safely below and now trying to get out of the 180s everyone here has such great advice!!! I honestly don't know where I'd be without 3FC!!!
  • Never been under 200 since college days. My current now is 200 so hopefully Im out of it on sunday, which is my WI. Good luck to me!!
  • Good luck myfav!! You're gonna do it

  • Trying Hard but need help
I am getting back on the band wagon to losing weight and I need support. I was doing very well for two years and did go from 260 to 208 but then I stopped exercising, eating nutrisystem, and taking the diet pills I was on. I baloooned back up. I am not the worse eater but not the best either. I love chocolate and can't not eat it when it is in front of me. I live with two other chococholics, which doesn't help the situation. I have gotten so frustrated with doing the yo-yo. I can't seem to get out of the 200s. I am getting back into exercising and watching what I eat but have not lost any weight yet. I trying to stay optimistic but it is hard. I tryin to think of my health but it is hard. I don't like to cook so I need simply things I can eat. Plus I get home late at night and don't want to eat too much. For two years, I ate salads so I am pretty much tired of salads. Can anyone else feel my pain?
  • I am at 203 and can't wait to be below the 200 mark. I haven't been below 195 since before 2009 so that is my ultimate goal. Just have to keep going and stay positive!! It will come for all of us. And remember, if you fall off the wagon today, jump on this site and there will always be someone to pull you back on. Don't beat yourself up as today is a new day!!!
  • Samantie, you are so close!! you're gonna make it
  • I'm at 227 right now; I can't wait to be under 200!
  • After wasting another year or so, I've gotten back onto my weight loss plan. I got down to 191 about 3 years ago...haven't been below 200 in at least a year now.

I weighed in at 206.2 this morning- I hope to be below 200 by 7/7- it's achievable. I actually work out quite a bit (run 10-15 miles a week, pilates at least once a week and then walking my dog here and there) but it's not enough to combat what I've been eating REALLY trying to cut most of the sugar, diet pop, fried foods etc
