    you r right
and i'm realy thankful to what i have but i'm just wondering how they just don't gain weight

and i don't know i think it just easy to regain your weight when you lost it by starving ur self
and how can we git rid of the empty fat cells ??
    there is no way ??
  • This is how even someone who is obese can be malnurished! If you're getting half your daily food allowance from empty calorie sources you are starving your body of the goodies it NEEDS!!!

You can translate your love of cooking to healthier venues! Learn some new healthful recipes and make those instead of cheesecake and cookies. Your body will thank you for it and your tastebuds will adjust . I'd much rather have a bowl of berries with a dollap of greek yogurt than a cheesecake, these days .
  • ok thank u
so there is no way to eat cheesecake
  • Quote: ok thank u

Probably not the best idea, on a regular basis, unless you want to go Atkins and learn how to make a low carb version .
  • Make cheese cake when you will be serving it to many friends so all you can get is a thin slice. And then enjoy the heck out of that slice! Even a low carb version will lead you in to trouble.

You can not regularly eat lots (or as much) cheese cake or other goodies as you currently wish to and be thin & healthy. It's your choice which is more important to you.
  • Junk food should only be eaten in moderation. If you are really in love with a particular dessert, would it not be possible to make a smaller portion or even just buy a slice pre-made so you don't have to worry about putting any in the refrigerator or throwing it away? I'd try to limit your intake to like once a week or something and only a reasonable amount.

Everyone who brought up X number of calories of cheesecake versus X number of calories of veggies is right. Here's another example...I can eat an entire Kahiki Fried Rice container for 370 calories, Smart Ones Ziti for 300, Healthy Choice's Beef Merlot for 210, or Lean Cuisine Pizza for 380 among other things. These are all things that I actually rather enjoy eating. OR I could eat 1 danish for 470 calories. Less food, less nutrition, less filling, and kick starts cravings like an S Oh Bee. I avoid this stuff like the plague. X_X The only reason I got one in the first place is because it was free and I ate half before pitching it. Better to throw it away than to force-feed yourself, IMO.
  • www.skinnytaste.com - no bake cheesecake - seriously delicious - I make it all the time and instead of pouring it into a low fat crust, I spoon it into individual servings and top with graham cracker crumbs and sliced fresh strawberries. I like to sprinkle bran buds on top too for extra crunch. I've even halved the recipe and made less, and, personally, after the first time I made it I found it so sweet that I eliminated the 1/4 cup of sugar.

There are plenty recipes for sweets at skinnytaste.com

If you love desserts, you need to find lower fat, lower sugar, thus lower calorie versions and if you love to bake you should enjoy taking regular items and turning them into something healthier.

Start learning to make substitutions. You don't even have to use artificial sweeteners b/c you can use less amounts of real sugar, or substitutes like bananas, prunes, applesauce, and spices. Cinnamon adds sweetness, for instance.

As to the junk food calories - if you consume 1200 daily science will tell you that it shouldn't make a difference to your weight loss efforts - a calorie is a calorie is a calorie. I try to embrace this data. However, 1200 calories of junk is going to make you less healthier, and may make you feel horrible as opposed to a balanced diet of the same amount of calories.

If all else fails, try to tame your sweet tooth for junky sugary fatty foods. I know eating an apple pales in comparison to the cheesecake you're craving, but you may be able to deal with not having sweet treats 5 days out of 7, knowing that a treat is coming --- and make that treat a healthier version...there definitely are tricks to doing it.

    Good luck.
