  • I feel like Im eating plenty of food. Healthy food ofcourse.
    For once I counted my calories and everything I eat BESIDES dinner is just about a 1000cal. So I guess Im eating less than I thought.
    So its pretty much the amount of calories in dinner that decides how many calories I eat per day. I eat a lot of the same foods everyday tho, so I try not to worry about what Im eating for dinner. Just try not to eat as much of the unhealthy.
  • Eurus, when I'm in "losing" mode I also tend to eat 1000-1100 calories before dinner. For "losing" I try to shoot for 1400-1600 calories/day, maybe one higher cal day at 1800-2000 for the week. I can maintain around 2000 cals per day when I'm being active. If I eat junk food I feel horrible and still very hungry, though.

    Please poke around the stickies at the top of this forum, too. There have been many great conversations in this forum. I think "How many calories do maintainers eat" and "Is there a formula for maintenance" would particularly interest you. Some of us are very different and some of us are more similar when it comes to maintenance, but sharing our experiences and having each others support is invaluable.
  • Thanks Megan. Yeah, I work out for about 45 mins to an hour everyday. So I dont think I should be eating any less.
    Pluss I have a pretty active job. Plenty of walking just about the whole day.
