  • I could never imagine doing those things and I'm almost 20 yrs younger.
Lin, you inspire me. Congratulations!! YOU are fabulous!
  • Curvalicious-you'll get there. I have no doubt. I'll do my best to stay on plan and prove we can maintain and have a fabulous week - week after week. Thanks for the kind words. I get encouragement from everyone in this forum and really appreciate all the support.

  • Excellent day, but afternoon stress is threatening to get me in a bad mood. Car trouble and business expenses are overwhelming. Just reminding myself that to do this job I have to be strong and healthy.
  • Weighed in yesterday and I lost 1 pound. Was hoping for more, but this is the first time it's moved in a while! Great news is I've been walking with the kids (got my husband out there once). My oldest wanted to go far, so we decided to walk to the store, which is 3 miles from here (uphill). I told my husband to be ready to pick us up, but we made it there and back and it wasn't awful at all. Ok, I hurt ALL night long and feel rather rickety this morning, but I'm so glad we did it.

Looking forward to another great week! Please join in with me!
  • Quote: Hello,

You mentioned the arm band gadget. I have tried different pedometers
and non of them worked well for me. They were the type you attache to
waist band, it would count steps when I barely moved.
Is the one you are using pretty accurate?
The BodyMedia armband, goes on your left arm and has metal sensors that are reading what you body is doing. It is really accurate, with both steps and calories. I feel that it is worth the price.
