  • See, and I thought they could see my 5 lbs lie. I guess I'm way, way too honest. I said I weighed 250 when I weighed 255. As you can imagine, I look a bit different now, but I won't change it just to change it. I cannot stand waiting at that place. my gym membership ID was taken about the same time. No weight is mentioned, but my fat face is plastered there and every time I see it (which is almost every day) I realize how far I come and it makes me want to keep going and never go back.

But this thread has come up before and based on the responses, I realize it's incredibly stupid to ask weight on a DL. First, people lie - grossly. So, then have people step on a scale. But then, weight isn't permanent, so what was 1 year ago doesn't mean it will be that way 4 years down the road.
  • Way to go!!
  • Congrats! I have about 15 pounds to go before my DL weight isn't a lie anymore. Then I'm going to "lose" it, get a replacement, and lie even lower. haha
  • My DL still has the weight on it from, like, 25 years ago, LOL!!! (125) ... each time I had it renewed, nobody ever asked or said anything so I didn't bother to change it. Even when I was 192... surely a person could tell I wasn't 125!!!

Come to think of it, doesn't it seem kinda strange, given that a person can gain/lose weight so much, that any state would have that on your DL? It's even weird that it would state your eye color, because hey - colored contact lens! Or that you wear glasses, because ... again, contact lens... or in my case, lasik surgery.

Maybe license should just have your pic, a finger print, and height. Most people don't grow or shrink in height, yo?
