  • Hubbie and I went to the lake and sand dunes on TU. We met up with some friends and had a good time. Lake MI was fun, lots of cool waves. Got a little workout there. Then we had pizza with our friends. OMG!!! It was delish, but oh so bad. I was 192.6 today ....so not too bad. Back on track today.

    Jeni- I feel for ya. That is a lot of work.

    Emi- You and I are about the same. We are in this together.

    MM- Love seeing you around.

    Nothing planned for today, just laundry, bills and some organizing - fun stuff! Another heat wave coming again, ugh! I miss upstate NY summers

    Mindy - Actually I was 182.6 this morning, exactly the same I'm hoping to be down into the 160s before I go back to work in October.
  • Whew~ another good run. 2 days in a row! Last night I did take some advil, but it wasn't too bad. I do need to stop and get some fruit tonight.

    Life got crazy. Job went crazy. I went crazy. But am THRILLED to see WOW still trucking along! I'm coming back soon. Mindy, Mavie, Emi, Jen & Rowdy... thanks for being here when I looked. You have no idea what motivation it gives me

    I plan to enjoy the sunshine today...not sure what I am doing, but after church, want to be outside! I was planning to take 2 weeks in a row off from my office job, but my next surgery is going to be the 16th and depending on what they find, I will be out at least two weeks and maybe much longer, so I am going to work til then to try and get as much as I can cleared up for whoever has to assist while I am out.

    I've been so far away from this site it isn't even funny. This site, actually trying to be healthy, all of it! I KNOW for a FACT that I am channelling all my addictive tendencies into eating just FEEDING my disease. On that note, I have been clean and sober alcohol and drugs since April 17th 2009. However, I know that in order to truly RECOVER, not just stay clean, I need to do lots of work, spiritually, emotionally, etc.

    Didn't mean to get too intense there....I will weigh in and set myself a mini goal tomorrow morning. We just got back from vacation!!!! And we are all sick!!!!! So who knows. I am thinking about calling off work tomorrow but I always hate to do that. ugh...

    I will probably laugh when I see my "ticker", whatever it was when I last was on here. I'll prob WISH I still weighed that. Plus, what picture did I use on this site? LOL

    Look forward to catching up with you all. Have they made an Android app for this site yet? That would be awesome since I am addicted to my Droid too.

    Mavis - I'll post another pic soon, my husband has the camera set to take pictures in a raw format so I don't know how to convert them to jpegs (I'm technically inept!).

    Doing well, down to 181.0 this morning so -2 this week (yay). Nothing much planned for today, making a huge batch of pesto because I pulled half of my basil plants yesterday. Hope everyone has a great start to their week!
