  • Hey all, thanks for the support. Yeah, I'm a trainer and I also play in a tennis league tue nites. Luckily, I'm the youngest. While they can still beat me at age 50-60+, the game does not exhaust me. We all play 24 games. As far as training goes, I had the classes run at 85% MHR and I just "floated" in between them, so while I ran 2 miles each class, they were 12 min miles and I barely breathed heavy.

I added protein a lot yesterday and decided a few extra carbs today wouldn't hurt.

A major problem today is I don't feel like eating. I think it's either the protein from yesterday (plus the extra cals) OR...I'm considering how to deal with my disappointing bf (i.s. do I break up with him?). Recipe for me not wanting to eat, for sure.

I'm gonna go make myself eat a hot, homemade chocolate chip cookie.

Isn't that so bizarre? I have to make myself eat the whole thing.

Anyway, I have motivation, though, because my co-trainer at work and I were discussing my weight loss and she made a tactful comment about my skinny legs. I gotta get some meat on those things.
  • The cure: One holiday weekend vacationing with family of over eaters.

I'm happy to say I'm already back at normal weight.

I was going to suggest hangin with my family! My Mom is a southern woman who doesn't cook using measurements...she does what we call, "putting yo foot in it" style cookin. You would gain 10 lbs the first week..haha!

GREAT...glad to hear your ok. Sounds like you have a similar family.
  • I often hear that I'm "too skinny", and I absolutely LOVE it! For me, it's a huge compliment!
