  • I'd like to join you guys, too. I was at lifetime, but let the pounds creep up lately. At this point I'm 146. I was 139 before the holidays. Bummer. I'd like to get down to my WW goal of 136 and my personal goal of 132. Whew... all these numbers. lol

My goal is to find other ways of coping with stress than reaching for food.

Goals for today: journal, drink water, exercise.

It's good to be with other gals reaching for their goals, too.

    Thanks,

    Dena
  • MuffinMich, I forgot to mention that I'm a muffin girl, too. Just eating one for breakfast. It's low-fat and 4 pts., but oh, so filling. Keeps me going until lunch.
  • Hi! Can I join? I did WW 9 years ago and lost 125 lbs. Then, over the next 4 years, I gained back EVERY OUNCE! I started on 1/1/01 at 250 and have maintained 147 (give or take 2 lbs) for a few months. I am finding maintenance a constant challenge. It's not impossible, but since I've never maintained before (always gaining or loosing!), I'm learning lots of new skills.
I eat a very healthy, lowfat diet, averaging about 1400-1500 calories a day. I walk 2 miles every morning and try to run a few times a week. I need to drink more water and watch what I eat during dinner prep! Keeping carrots handy helps!
Hope you all have a great day!
  • Hi all- I'll post my points and what not, but I lost 2# on Friday. whoo hooo.

I have a short week this week. I'm weighing in on Wednesday night as I leave for Brussels bright and early on Thursday.

I'm going to come back either the same or less darnit.

  • Hi Everyone
Where to begin. I joined WW Jan 2 of 2002 and hit my goal Dec. 23rd...93 lbs lighter. The goal I hit was my Dr. goal and I admit it I cheaped out because I now plan on continuing to lose , even though I am officially on maintanence. HItting goal the week of Christmas was rough but I sit here now 3 lbs more gone.

I want to lose another 15-20 lbs . I just worry that once maintenance is over and I only weigh in once a month how I will handle that. I like the weekly facing of the scale. Any hints.

Anyway I would love to join this forum as you all seem like a lot of fun.
  • Welcome Kady, Dena & Muffin Mich -

Kady- Congrats on making it to lifetime. You know, you can still weigh in every week if you want to - don't feel you have to only come in & weigh once per month. I agree, too big of a shock to go from once a week to once a month. I weigh in much more than once a month - I need the accountability.

    Later,
  • Thanks Katie....I didnt know that....of course I never asked or was told you couldnt. I have 4 more weeks of maintanence to go before lifetime. HOping to be down 5 lbs by then. I am going for the big 100 lb loss.....
