  • Good morning all!

Natasha - Good luck with your assessment.

Kristen - Glad you got good news.

Schmoodle - Feels like Monday to me for some reason.

Jessica - Happy birthday to your son. The time does fly!

Not much happening here. Have to rush since we (DH and I) are doing cardio early today since he has a dentist appointment later. Which means I will have the house to myself for the afternoon and I think a nap is in order. Cold is still hanging on. Eating well but have not yet recovered from my horrible two-day off plan binge last week.

    BBL chicks...
  • Good morning,

I got a meeting in 6 minutes so have to be quick

Natasha cute pup- fingers still crossed for you.

Kara good luck with getting everything ready

Matilda good find hope you get everything organized in time to leave

    to everyone else

My morning started out crazy...was working out and notice the police car with lights on at the neighbors- realized it is street sweeping day and no cars allowed to park on street- so ran and got two sets of keys to move cars before I got a $25 parking ticket- mission accomplished.

Got to work and things were crazy, Boss on a tear. Jeesh finally everything has calmed down.

Have to leave at 1 p.m as DS has to give deposition at lawyers office regarding his car accident from over a year ago- the lady is suing - I hope the lawyers work- she has previous injuries and is trying to claim them on DS accident with her.

    Okay gotta run
  • Hey Jess - Happy birthday to your boy!

Just quick fly-by. Still training a team downstairs so it's been a hectic morning, with workgroup meeting and an IT conference call in there too. Whee! I was OP yesterday! Yay me!

Hope everyone's having a fabulous day!

    Lisa
  • Morning beach blanket babes Oh how I wish I was on some nice warm beach right now.

It is raining once again today and I just can't go walk in it again today. I can take a lot but come on now, this is a bit much. I know I should but darn, really really don't want to and hate the darn weight training dvd so don't know what I'm going to do...........will let you know if today is a wash.

Not much going on here today, do have to run to the closest little grocery store for yogurt and stop by the post office to mail a few books. Other than that, just might curl up with a good book or movie.
  • We arrived safe and sound and it's beautiful over here, too, although a several forest fires are burning nearby.

Jessica (candle lady), happy birthday to your DS.

Karen, hope you had a nice nap today!

    Pearlrose, just another crazy day!

    Lisa,

Rose(TallandThin), I did get to the pool yesterday in the drizzle! Hope you took a break with that book today!

I think I'll take a short nap, I already got my salad together for the next 2 or 3 days.
  • Afternoon, ladies. My assessment went well...it was much easier than I expected. There are 4 of us up for the job, so we'll see what happens. I have my interview tomorrow afternoon at 3:30. Depending how quickly they act, I could know something by Friday. Eek!!! As soon as I know, you guys will, too. Thanks for all the "good luck" wishes!!!

Kara - Oh she is SUCH a good snuggle partner. She curls up right on your legs and keeps them warm all night. She *is* a little bit of a bed-hog, though. LOL She thinks she's extra pretty today b/c I put a hot pink bandana on her for Cherry Blossom Festival. Your veggie chili sounds GOOD...hope it turned out well!!!

Heidi - Thanks. Hope your day went well.

Mmckellen - Ouch, MORE snow??? If it makes you feel any better, mine is just covered in pollen. Ugh...to be able to breathe right now would be AWESOME. Not sure I'd trade it for your snow, though, LOL Have a fun and safe trip!!!

Cottage - Thanks. Yuck on the sleet...but I like the positive outlook of "at least it's not snow."

kmac - Glad to see you got some good news at the doctor's yesterday. Awesome!!! Don't you just hate when you "cheat" and it's just not worth it. But I also remember doing a lot of cheating during Christmas and, although the treats tasted FABULOUS, it was definitely not worth feeling disgusting and bloated for days and days. UGH!!! Ya'll remind me of that this Christmas, okay??? LOL

    Ruth - UGH...that sucks!!!

Schmoodle - Oh wow...a spa weekend sounds like absolute HEAVEN right now. Mmmmmmm...I need to look into one of those. Oooh, Spy Museum sounds like fun, too!!!

ultimatebea - I can't speak for the others, but I work nightshift and I keep my routine on my days off. That's why I'm always on here so early, LOL And I'm w/ you...is it the weekend yet??? LOL

Lexxiss - Awwww thanks...I've been missing you guys, too!!! Hope all is well w/ you and yours.

Candle lady - Happy Birthday to your son!!! And congrats and being down another pound.

WaistingTime - Thank you. Mmmm, a nap sounds good...hope you got it!!!

TallandThin - I am DEFINITELY w/ you on the beach idea. Ooh, just to put my toes in the water and walk along the shore for a couple of hours. Sounds like HEAVEN!!!

    Cyndi - and weezle -

Anywho. We had our team's Autism Skate today and didn't do too well. I did win a gift certificate to Logans and another one to Cheddars from our raffles. We're doing another one in May just before the Autism Walk but, unfortunately, I won't be able to attend that one b/c I have the Warrior Dash that day. We are way behind on our fundraising this year b/c my bestfriend has a newborn she's dealing w/ but I think we'll make it up w/ our barbecue plate fundraiser. Or at least I hope we will!!! Applebees is letting us do a pancake breakfast on April 30th, so hopefully that will help us, too. Oh, and if anybody lives in Georgia and would like to join our team for the Autism Walk, it's Sunday May 22nd and we'd be happy to have you!!!
  • Well I don't understand what happened today but I completely was washed off the beach and went "under" several times. Tried clinging on all day but finally lost my grip and it was downhill from then on. Still shaking my head, wondering how it all happened. But enough of that. I'm going to bed soon and tomorrow is a new day and I'll be back up on the warm sand and soaking in the sun and splashing on the suntan lotion. So, see you all in the morning.
