  • Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a beautiful day and I learned how to do yoga poses without hurting my wrist. That was a huge triumph. I had tried wacky things like a yoga wedge and it made the pain worse. Now, bring on the downward facing dog! Although the side plank was still a little tough.

Anyways, eating well yesterday and moving got me down a pound, so we'll continue the trend, I hope. I think I may need to give up coffee... the caffeine isn't that great for me, but the milk and honey I add to it adds calories (yes, I know honey isn't SBD- but it doesn't seem to affect me like sugar does and I am not interested in using artificial sugars.)
  • Hello,

Quick flyby for me again, busy time at work.

Happy Birthday to your 11 year old girl Kristen.

Karen- cost me $99 for a tuxedo rental last year for DS so yes that was less expensive then this dress. I will post a picture of her on prom night.
  • Good rainy afternoon my friends

Cyndi, We had the Keurig coffee maker at the last hotel we stayed at and I love it. Sure makes making coffee easy. Hope your event went well.

Kristen, hope you were able to have a great time with your young daughter and still eat a healthy on plan meal. What wonderful memories she will have. Good going.

Heidi, what fun getting your hair done. I just love having mine done, plus my one additional pleasure is a pedicure every six weeks. Because I'm a diabetic, I want to make sure that I don't develop any feet problems and the lady I go to is so good about checking them very close besides giving the most wonderful pedicure.

Ruth, you sound like you have such a full life with all of your volunteer work. Guess it is what helps keep us young!

Cottage, You talking about Audrey getting her ears pierced reminded me that I did the same as a young woman but was never happy with my "holes" so just stopped wearing pierced earrings and eventually the holes closed I guess...........haven't tried putting anything thru them in many years.

    Matilda

Kara, hope your meeting with the medical board went well.

Karen, the best thing I ever did was let my hair go to it's natural gray. I've never regretted that decision and since it's natural curly all I do is wash it in the shower and towel dry it.....and away I go. Well, do get it cut every six weeks but that is it. Nice. Enjoy you son.

to everyone else. Hope your day is going well.

Claire, hoping your run helped and that you got a most adorable pair of just the right shoes.

uscarchie, congrats on mastering your yoga poses. Bet that makes you feel good.

It has rained hard all day long and our yard and pasture look like likes. Our poor little donkeys are all huddled together in the old pigpen which has a cement floor and roof. The barn doesn't work as well as it floods when it rains this hard. It's times like this that make me really appreciate my home and nice wood stove. I can't imagine what the homeless folks are doing to get thru today.

Hope you all are having a great day.
  • Just popping in to say hello. I'll try to come by tomorrow and finally do some personals. Hope you're all having a great day!!!
