Mitza24 Nice to meet you! I was raised Catholic, but I've been non-practicing ever since leaving my parents house years ago. Are you as tired of this lousy weather as I am? I don't know why we can't have two sunny days above freezing in a row!

I'm heading out of town for the rest of the week for a quick business trip. It's so hard to eat right on the road, hope I don't end up undoing all my progress from earlier this week. Fingers crossed!

Mitzi - I am not Catholic but my boyfriend is so I usually give something up. This year is a little different - I am trying to quit smoking so I gave up smoking in the house, except for the basement. And I also gave up alcohol shots, good for calories and my liver My boyfriend gave up french fries, he eats fast food pretty much everyday for lunch. Plus I think any excuse to have meatless days is always good. Are you giving anything up?

The weather here is warming but the rain seems constant. The sun was out for a couple minutes yesterday it was nice. My pilates class is cancelled this week and next week I will be out of town so I have been trying to keep up on it at home. It is hard to exercise at home when everytime I lay on the mat I have two dogs all over me thinking I am playing with them, and if I shut the door they just sit there and whine the whole time!

I don't think I shared on this thread yet that our overtime is not mandatory. I will still be doing late nights but at my discretion. I'm very grateful things worked out. I am trying to step up at work and take on additional responsibilities. Overall I'm feeling better about my body and my job and my overall mental well being.

I weighed in today at 153.4. I'm very happy with that and seeing my belly shrinking down.

ja2ma6lee - that's awesome about your schedule. It is hard to stay on track when things at work are crazy!

I am hoping for more stability and less stress at work. I'd say everyday is a different story, but its more like every hour.

I haven't been planning my meals and getting a little off track. My cravings for certain food are coming back. I think its a need to comfort myself from the stress.

Today is a pretty descent day weather wise in Jersey. I got to walk the dogs outside and let them run around the baseball field. I didn't run. I'm lacking the energy. The fresh air was wonderful though.

How is everyone else doing out there? I'd love to hear how ppl are having success, hitting obstacles, over coming things or just feeling in general.

ja2ma6lee a little off track isn't a bad thing every now and then, as long as you get back on.

I don't have anything too exciting to report. The weekend was ~ as far as food goes. We had a family St Patrick's party, everyone noticed my husband had lost weight, not one person notice that I had, which was really disappointing.

I'm so glad to see the sun again, and the weekend is looking promising, too!

I saw a commercial the other day that used the phrase "Refresh your resolution" and that's really what I'm trying to do. I just need the willpower to muscle through the last five or ten lbs. I've made it through the last eleven weeks, just need to make it another eight or nine.

Silverstar- sorry to hear your family failed to compliment you on your weight lose. I know the frustration behind that. I took not seeing my parents for over a month for my mom to notice the change I had made. Its crazy thinking that I actually lost 15lbs. It doesn't feel like I lost that and to me I sometimes don't see it either. I'm so worried about the next 15, I forget to be grateful for ridding myself of the last 15. I also forget that it can be done. I just gotta keep trucking along. It tool me about 6 months to lose the weight so I should plan the same way for my next weight lose.

I started on the Fat Smash diet. I'm on day 1 of the 9 day detox. I'm managing. Not having my normal cravings but getting a little hungry. I'm on my way home on the train. Totally ready for bed.

I'm hanging in there at the office. Took a sick day yesterday. Now easing back into things. I am looking forward to the train home and being picked up by my BF.

Everyone's been so quiet on this thread. I'm pretty much posting to myself. That's ok though if its helping me stay on track w my weight loss I'm gonna keep doing it.

I didn't reach my goal for St Pats of 150. I am happy to report I'm at 153. I am going to be rid of those 3lbs by April. I'm eating better and the sunny weather has me motivated to be more active. I love this time of year. It really brightens my spirit.
