I feel like an idiot

  • Haha, my friend and I did "Flirty Girl Fitness" and that was embarrassing. We've known each other our whole lives and it was awkward!
  • I've been doing DVD workouts for 8 years and I still won't do them in front of anyone...only the baby! LOL
  • I refuse my boyfriend to watch me when I work out...even if it's just weights. It's sooo embarrassing, it reminds me of when I was a kid and my parents would walk in and see me dancing around.

    /cringe /blush
  • Quote: I did cardiokie for a while and you have to sing and dance!
I can't even say cardiokie without feeling silly.

I don't particularly like my husband seeing me doing exercise videos either so I've taken to doing them at lunch, which is the only time I have the house to myself. The only reason I feel kinda silly when I'm alone is because I sure as heck don't look as graceful as they appear in the videos but I get over it.
  • I think that's why I haven't started my video workouts... My bf and I live together, and I would love for him to never see me doing one of them. I guess I should get over that and just go for it. He knows I'm a dork anyway lol!
  • I hear you! I refuse to do any of my workout dvds when my husband is home. He doesn't say anything about it but I still get soooo embarrassed, so I just wait until he's at work. The only thing I'll do in front of him is the elliptical since it's simple/straightforward, but I still prefer an empty house even for that.

Strangely, I don't mind working out with other friends who are trying to lose weight. Maybe cause they get as huffy/red/sweaty as I do. But my skinny, fit husband? No way will he see me work out lol.
  • Sooo glad it's not just me!
