  • Belle - hochmagandy? what is that? Or do I want to know? I think that the coolest thing is when 2 people can occupy the same space just doing nothing - or reading, or studying or whatever.

  • KT - its Kirsty's word for a little action... no, you don't want to know, especially with him EWWWWW!! But seriously, that is allhe ever wanted from me for 8 years. that and my money. When I wouldn't give him either, he was quite pissed off. then came the guilt games - I wasn't a good g/f because I denied him everything he needed (I waslike - get a job, get a hooker). ANyway, PHEW so glad that is over, as you can tell I am sure.
  • 8 years?? Wow I'm surprised you kept him that long!

I have little tiffs with my man every now and then because I make 2 times as much as him but we have the same amount of debt and damned if I'm not going to buy a house by the time I'm 28 (I'm 22 now) because I want to have a house before I have kids and 28 is a good age I think so we argue about money a lot. Plus he moved here with me because I took this job and he didn't want to move here but he did and now he makes less than before and I want to tell him its not enough but there's not much else plus he came down for me so I'm not sure if its worth arguing. Comments??

I only have 9 points left in the day to my max. At least I will earn 2-3 at the gym tonight!
  • I'm surprised I kept him too! Yuck.

Your situation sounds very different from mine. Supporting someone altogether is not good. But if they make less than you, well, what can you do. You have to compromise sometimes. And you got the good job out of the move as well....so I think that's OK.

My tummy is growling though I am not hungry (shouldn't be). Hope I am not getting a flu in my stomach now AGH!!!
  • Jayne ,

Chicken Nachos?? Can you post the recipe? That sounds yummy. LOL

    Thanks
  • Sure can:

1 oz wow Tostitos (Baked would work too, just add an extra point to the total)

1 oz Louis Rich grilled chicken strips, torn up into smaller pieces

    1/4 c shredded low-fat cheddar cheese

Arrange tortilla chips on plate. Top with chicken and cheese and nuke it until the cheese is bubbly. Garnish with sliced pickled jalepenos, salsa, and fat-free sour cream.

4 points for the whole plateful

This is a great lunch if you pair it with a salad or something to up the veggie content.

Jayne my new fave snack/ lazy meal is that prepackaged redbeans/blackbeans and rice i usually make half of it Omit the butter Half a package makes a cup 1/2 cup is a serving
I take a 1/2cup to a cup of salsa mix in some hot sauce and mix it with the rice sooo good and about 4 pts
I like to split a bagel toast it on uncle george Get a slice of ff cheese and melt it on the bagel on the gf grill for like 30seconds
4 pts and the ff cheese covers the bagel as well as cream cheese
  • Jayne, Thanks for posting the recipe. I copied it. Cant wait to try it out.
