This. This, this, this, this.
It's been truly liberating for me to let go of numerical weight goals entirely. Now I no longer have to curse and feel discouraged when I get on the scale and see my weight is up two or three pounds, because of exercise or sleep or dehydration or hormones or just for the **** of it or any of the other myriad factors that cause day-to-day fluctuations. All I have to do is trust my plan and stick to it - and that is completely within my control. The vagaries of the scale, and how fast my body is willing to lose weight, are not within my control.
I highly recommend pinning your goals on what you
do - the results will flow from that on their own.
