  • I didn't get the bank matter settled, but come next week, I'll take care of it. I just want it over and done with! Weezle, that's a pretty dress and you'll look like a delicate flower in it! Take care all!
  • All I needed at the supermarket was parsley, but I managed to spend $84. I MUST remember to leave Jake home next time.

Cyndi ~ I'm glad you made it safely to your parents'. The picture of that church is beautiful and it's going to make a great present for some special person!

Twynn ~ our banks are open today, and ours was packed when we went by earlier. I'm glad I went yesterday as soon as they opened! And you're right, butter is an essential for Christmas dinner, too!

Debbie ~ I'm glad you're having a nice visit with your brother. You can make your own crackers, just use toilet paper or paper towel rolls with a little trinket inside. We used to use bite-sized candy bars.

Karen ~ I know you'll be glad when those college essays are finally done and you can breathe a huge sigh of relief!

SouthernJudy ~ have fun shopping today!

Lisa ~ I love the wedding dress you've chosen! It's simple, yet elegant and I know you'll look stunning in it!

Sophie ~ Whew! I'm glad someone was able to come out today and repair your furnace. Stay warm and toasty!
  • Merry Christmas (Eve), ladies!!! I hope that you're all enjoying some time w/ family and not stressing TOO much trying to get everything done. It has been a non-stressful but busy time around my house. Unfortunately I have to work tonight and tomorrow night (and Sunday night) so our family already did our Christmas this past Sunday. I made double fleece pillows for mom (and the dog, LOL...no really, she gets her own pillow) and I have a few small presents to wrap for her even though we said we were just doing for the kids. I've got to run up to the store and get some lottery tickets for my shift b/c they wouldn't sell them after 11 PM last night. I got a $15 Starbucks gift card as a prize for whoever wears the ugliest Christmas sweater to work tomorrow night, so that should be fun.

I posted up some pictures in yesterday's thread from our visit to the Hay House. It was absolutely beautiful inside but, unfortunately, you couldn't take pictures on the guided tour. Too bad b/c, lemme tell ya, it is GORGEOUS!!!

Anyway, like I said in yesterday's thread, I feel bad neglecting you wonderful ladies for so long, but hopefully I can get back on the ball on Sunday. I hope everyone is doing wonderfully and is having a fantastic Christmas!!! *hugs* to all!!!
  • Pity we were not closer Ruth and Cottage - Parsley here is growing by the minute. You can take you choice of what type, how much you want - pull it out by the root if you wish.
Merry Christmas to all of the Beachers. Have a blessed day
