  • Welcome Sue Bee--we're practically neighbours! Wow! I've never had anyone so close to me--our Ruthie is over on the other side near Kingston and that's quite a haul. Do you ever go south?

Chrissy, I just noticed that the second one was out and I've been debating getting it. Hmmm...maybe rent first ask questions later?

Annie, so glad to hear your mum is OK. This may sound odd, but maybe Meals On Wheels can help? We had a fella here that spent lots of time in the hospital and he was unable to fix anything so so folks from dh's work arranged that Meals On Wheels would help him out for a couple of weeks until he was feeling better. Good way to make sure they are eating properly.

Janice--oh boy, too many drugs, too little time! Just joshin'!

Jenny I have one word for you--echinacea! My grandma swears by it and she's rarely ever sick

L, what lovely memories to have of your grandpa

to everyone I missed and hope you all have a great day!
  • Hi everybody, just a fly-by...my kitchen is KILLING me! We are STILL painting, and now...it peels. Sigh. I guess I will have blue cabinets obviously painted white until I win the lottery and get new cabinets. I thought this would take 2 days, I am on day 4 and will be working until tomorrow night like this.

I am frustrated, I said I would not weigh until the 15th but I got on this morning and only 1 pound lost. Acccckkk! I have been PERFECT except for the one planned offplan meal. 9 days and 1 pound. At least I didn't gain a pound.

Ok, off to the shower while Rob picks up Cody. Gotta smell good for my hello hugs! Then it is back to the paint can for another evening of fun.
  • Jennifer,
A friend of mine got some great "new" cabinets from a contractor that was remodeling kitchens and this was what he was taking out. No harm asking.......
