I laughed hard at this too!! Very funny!! I think that's how my family sees me!

I'm sorry people aren't saying anything, but rest assured they're noticing. They have to be! Some people are just more shy about it and sometimes I think compliments are almost a regional thing. I find compliments very motivational and yet I realize I myself am not so forthcoming with weight compliments in others. It seems like every time I dole one out I'm wrong. LOL!

Some people may be to afraid to offend you. It's only out of kindness they don't say anything. It's almost like admitting to you they think you are fat and they may not want to hurt your feelings. Little do they know it's encouraging for someone to say wow you look great. But sometimes it could be hard to say. There was a girl here who was by no means fat, but she lost a ton of weight and I was to afraid to say anything to her as well. So don't feel bad. I'm glad you've lost that weight. Way to go!!!!!!!!

Oh GOD Yes and I'm 120 down!

EVERYONE- Notices my husband's 100 pound loss and I'm standing RIGHT next to him and I dont get noticed. Why? I think he's at a healthy/normal 165 and is thin looking so they talk to him! I want people to notice me, darn it LOL> But what can you do!

I know that I am not comfortable mentioning people's weight, even when they have lost a significant amount. It's my own insecurity, but it makes me uncomfortable to mention anything related to weight. I guess in my mind, if I don't mention weight, people won't notice mine.

I've had to learn the hard way to not look to other people for approval or confidence.....you said yourself that you look darn good....that's all that matters...yes as human beings we do want others to notice...but the people who make that thier everything are the ones constantly trying to conform to what others think they should be....don't look for outside approval...if you get it you do, and if not then you dont....dont let them drive you crazy..
I've seen people bigger than me who look better than I do....and its not because of thier physical beauty...its because they know they look good so they dress and act as they do and in turn noone can miss them...everybody turns and looks and takes note of how gorgeous they are....If you believe you're beautiful the world will too...trust me....remember you're opinion is the only one that matters....and when you happen to have a down day where you feel it's not enough, you know where to find us....Thats why we are here...post a pic and I'll be glad to remind you of how astonishly beautiful you are....but dont let the world bring you down....
THe most successfl people are successful because they dont give a rats a** what anyone else thinks....Theres only one person you can count on to always make you smile...yourself...and anyone else is a blessing and a gift that God has given us. I promise you, you are Beautiful...GOd doesnt make anything less than...
