I haven't been online in a bit, but I wanted to be sure and pop on and thank all of you for your kind words. I'm very grateful for your support.
Now that some work things have settled down I hope to be on more and return all the the support you have given me.
I'm still on program and look forward to making an "it's been two years" post, hopefully after I've made my "I'm at goal" post but as long as I get to make the "I'm at goal" post I don't care when it is exactly.
Since I first posted this I met another milestone. I can actually bend over and instead of touching my toes put my entire hand flat on the floor! I couldn't even touch my toes when I started. This is the most exciting NSV to date!
Happy Anniversary! Wow you have really kicked weight's a$$ this past year, what an inspiration! Keep it up for us token fat girls who are looking to be your understudies
Ha! I still can not touch my toes!! Actually, I can touch them standing up but I can not touch them if I'm sitting on the floor with my legs out straight. Dr. Oz said that's a big indicator of heart disease. I hope he's wrong because I just have really tight muscles behind my knees. All this exercise and my flexibility hasn't changed one iota.
I haven't heard the heart thing but I went to a health expo where they measured flexibility amongst other things and they said they check hamstring flexibility to indicate risk for injury and potential back problems. I've been pointedly targeting stretches to that area after exercising to stretch things out. That is my weak spot. Maybe your bootcamp will do the trick. It HAS to happen eventually the way you are working it.
