Niggles are trifling or petty details. Things like cleaning sinks, folding laundry, tidying magazines .. in my case, they are usually irritating tasks that take less time to do than complain about!
thx ruth! ya learn a new thing every day
also just learned that "hotdish" is another word for casserole! ah, the beauty of lexical diversity in north america!!!
Cyndi- I tried a pretty cool green smoothie a while back with yogurt, grapes, apple and a whole lot of spinach. The apple and grapes are sweet enough to take away the bitterness of the spinach. And best of all, it's a really cool green color. Although if you have an immersion and everything, you're probably all over it.
This was before I started South Beach (again), by the way. Now I'm on P1, so no grapes, of course.
As for snow; what is this snow you speak of? Tiny frozen water pieces falling from the sky??? Madness. Actually, that's silly of me to say. We do get snow around here, but it's something that you drive to. I'm a little jealous though, it's so pretty. When I venture into snow (once every five years probably?) I'm usually face down in it, as I never learned to walk on ice.
Yesterday the Le Cordon Bleu cheffies were making something that smelled AMAZING and sweet and fattening as I was walking into the gym. Argh.
