  • When I'm forced to run on the treadmill instead of outside, the only way I can do it without being bored out of my mind is to listen to awesome music AND have the TV on closed captioning, preferably with the news on. Maybe I'm totally ADD, but I get really bored otherwise.
  • I loved running outside, don't have a treadmill or gym membership so running indoors it's not an option for me anyway. I listed to audiobooks and music to keep me distracted and not get bored.

Thesame7lbs, happy to find a fan of TAL here also. I recently downloaded the app on my Ipod Touch also, pretty good deal for a couple of bucks right?

Wait, Wait is pretty funny too but I haven't listened for a a while. I am huge fan of audiobooks and have so many to listen to that sometimes it's difficult to find the time to listen to all these great shows...

    Have a nice week everybody,

  • Quote: When I'm outside, like Windchime, I run with nothing. Someone told me a long time ago that it just messes with your natural rhythm. Now that I'm a mama, I just like to savor the quiet.
It definitely messes with my natural rhythm. It's hard to find songs that match exactly, and even if it did match today it might not match tomorrow, because some days I'm quicker than others. I only found this out by accident, when the battery on my mp3 player was dead one day and I still went out.
