  • Good Morning Beachers!

Cottage, Sounds like a nice day, enjoy the down time. I'm a bit jealous of your new counter tops!

Ruth, 18 half barrels?!? Wow, that sounds like a huge job!

    Twynn, Have a great day!

Heidi, Seems like you're staying busy. I'm glad you got to enjoy your niece's art show, that's awesome!

    Cyndi, enjoy your walks!

Chelby, That's like the 3rd time I've heard someone mention yesterdays Oprah... What was it about or what happened? I feel so clueless!

Debbie, Thanks for the early hello! Im assuming you were assuming I'd pop in here sometime after you as usual, lol!! I feel loved Maybe you can fill me in on the Oprah thing? What is a CSA? I've heard you mention it a few times... Have a great day and I hope it stops raining!

Karen, you're too funny, sometimes I need the title to remind me what day it is too! lol! I'm sorry you didn't get enough sleep last night! We rarely get any thunder or lightening, usually only during storms, but when we do it freaks me out! My dads house has two huge (pine?) trees in front and whenever we had storms when I was younger I could never sleep because I always thought the trees would smash us in the middle of the night! Hope you catch a nap and get back to normal!

Tammie, I didn't know you were an army wife!? Hope breakfast with the general's wife was nice... sounds fancy (the general part)! lol. Have a great day!

Natalia, Glad you're sticking to it. I LOVE the SBD cookbook, but I'm pretty sure most if not all (or more) recipes are available here at the top of the page! Check them out before you buy the book, because you may realize you dont need it.

Jenny, After reading your post I am officially hungry! Haha! I'm glad you are over your fear of chicken!! Enjoy the busy work week!

I'm off to class in an hour. Today is my Friday and I'm looking forward to a busy weekend. Going for a long walk tomorrow and catching up with my friend Stephanie, BBQing on Saturday with a bunch of friends here at my house, and working on a research paper all day Sunday! Oh and best of all, our friend Steve moves into his new apartment tomorrow... He's been sleeping on our couch for 3 weeks! I can't wait to have my house back!!! WOOO HOOOOO!!!!! Love the guy but I'm soooo sick of him CONSTANTLY being here... I like my alone time! Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred, here I come!

    Have a beachin' day everyone!
  • Afternoon everyone!

Boy am I checking in late today! I stayed up wayy too late last night and then had a hard time falling asleep. Then one of my cats, who wanted to snuggle last night, wanted out of my room at 5:00 and by the time my alarm went off I just turned it off and went back to sleep. Changing the routine tomorrow. Going to try to get up early to start running.

Did the Wii this morning and as I'm doing downward facing dog, my cat decides I made the perfect bridge so she is walking back and forth underneath me. Now she's sitting me purring up a storm. She's an attention seeker.

Well, off to finish up the chores that dad left and then biking over to the High School to see my old German teacher!

    Have a great day everyone!
  • There was no breakfast at the breakfast. LOL Glad I ate before I went. It was nice. We were able to discuss and air our "issues." The general's wife said she couldn't fix all the problems, but she was "sleeping" with the man who could. LOL

Kelly- I have been an army wife for about 12 1/2 yrs now. Hubby has been in for 21 yrs.

Kelly, There is the link to yesterday's Oprah show. It was deep. I couldn't identify with the author. In fact, I didn't understand most of what she was talking about. Maybe I wasn't listening closely enough. But I deeply identified with the ladies on the show who were beating themselves up over eating and the size of their butts.

Twynn, Our big Kindergarten Graduates were just born yesterday! It's crazy!

Natalia, I'm not a fan of the cookbook either. The recipes on this site are more 'real', IMO.
  • I know its probably too late for anyone to check here, but I just tried mixing sf jello powder with nf plain yogurt. Bliss! Truly satisfies my cravings. =)
