  • For me, Dove soap worked wonders.
Try getting the regular, non-scented Dove soap.

It softened and moisturized my skin and it felt really good.
  • Thanks everyone for your replies! A lot of these products I've already tried, but a few of them I haven't. I'll have to buy one or two of them at the store and see how they work Thank you!

  • MrsLovett, I remember your previous posts & I think you may want to look at ICUWishing's post & consider there may be some root cause, if you've never had this problem before & it's only come about since your temendous weight loss. Is your health okay? You may want to mention the dry skin problem to your doctor, who's probably followed some of your weight loss efforts over the past year & may offer some insight. Please, dear, take good care of yourself. Also watch for whether your menstruation is occurring regularly. Symptoms mean more sometimes when seen in context, and if, for instance, your period stopped & your skin also had suddenly become very dry, it might mean something that ought to be looked into.
  • totally agree with saef...
    my .02 cents:
are you drinking enough water/taking in enough fat?
also, i also have really dry skin, especially my hands and feet, to the point of cracking and bleeding at times, especially my hands.
my boyfriend bought this really good lotion, and after a few days of using it, it really helps.
its called hempz cucumber & jasmine herbal moisturizer. i think he bought it at a tanning salon, but i believe its also available online.
    hope this helps!
