It is suppose to be a beautiful sunny day in the 70's. Later in the week it is suppose to be in the 80's. Yesterday was chilly though. It was in the 60's. LOL I know for you northern chicks that is warm, but for this winter weenie it was chilly!

MMC good luck at the appt.

Karen hope the MRI turns out ok.

    Heide Congrats on the pound!

Cyndi- In our office we recieved brochures/guide for bird watching in Northern Alabama

I love going to the book store too. I love to sit and read a book and drink a cup of coffee.

Debbie- skiing sounds nice, but I am not coordinated for that.

ME-- Just sitting here drinking my hot tea. I am trying to cut back on the cofee/diet soda a bit and drink more water. I will get a SF latte at work. I am suppose to get my hair cut today, but I am going to cancel the appointment. I want to grow my hair out so I think I will wait a bit for the cut.

I hope you have all have a great day.

  • Good morning again chicks!

Y'all are cute...it is quite hard to get up in the morning! But, I (rarely) regret it afterwards. I've been awfully productive this am...35 min on treadmill, blank minutes on 3FC, black bean chili (with celery, onion, red and orange pepper) in the crockpot, and black bean salad made. I'm eating my old time favorite of all bran with yogurt, strawberries, and blueberries. It's funny this spring...I'm rediscovering some of the old things I used to love. HOpefully this will happen every year!

Tammie- where do you live? I'm growing out the hair too. It's too easy to put it up for work and running!

Debbie - enjoy the beautiful day!! I hope one day to go out there and visit again...maybe I can drop in!?!

Karen - good luck on the MRI today. Congrats on the DS!! I hope I can say the same in 11 years!!

Ruth - don't you hate it when the phone accidently gets unplugged . Hope it's a productive one!

MMCK - the 5 thing challenge is great. I know I've made a few (no fast food burgers, no soda), but I know I could sit and make a few more (no eating past 8 pm?!).

Cottage - is your vacation almost over? Sitting with coffee and a stack of books sounds LOVELY. I think I need a staycation too!

Cyndi - I think the muck boots would be a great investment for you!! I thought of you going thru the marsh the other day...I could hear the woodpecker getting his breakfast .

Heidi - LOVE the boots!! Congrats on the pound down!!

I guess I should go to work. Freakin' paycheck!
  • Twynn, you can stop by anytime! We have room.

BTW-I'm letting my hair grow(I think) for the summer biking season. It's pretty bad right now! I want to be able to french braid it for convenience under my bike helmet.
  • Tammy- I live in South Alabama about an 2 hours North of Panama City. Well I will live here for about 8 more months then we are moving to Fort Campbell(which is on the border of Kentucky/Tennesee)

Debbie LOL I read that as "summer bikini" season.

My omellette is super yummy!!! Spinach, mushrooms, asparagus, pepperjack cheese and eggs.

  • Good morning,
    Just lost my post:

Cyndi - check this out: http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/on/pelee/natcul/page3_e.asp Its a bird watchers paradise.

FO - Good to hear from you, keep on beaching.

Twynn - sent some of that energy this way.

Heidi - Have a great day. At our local school there is still a kindergarten teacher that thought my daughter who is 34. This teacher is now teaching a second generation.

Ruth - call answering is a good invention.

Cottage - hope you have unwound sufficiently.

Debbie - dream day there - pool and skiing.

Karen - hope you get answers to that shoulder soon.

Tammie - outgrowing your hair takes so much patience. Enjoy your latte.

me - going for a walk and who knows what else today.

    take care

  • Not so tangy for me. I'm spending the day washing clothes.

  • Jenny, You look AWESOME!! Congrats!
    Heidi, I LOVE your boots!

I had a fun "Monopoly Night" at a friends house last night, and while I only ate SBD friendly foods I definitely ate waaaaaay more that I should have. So today I plan on getting some extra excercise! It's cold and cloudy outside, but not raining so I think I'll take the pooch to the beach and walk through the dry sand... that always KILLS me!

I hope you all have a lovely day!
  • Jenny-Congrats! Thanks for sharing your pics!

    tammie-your 10% isn't far away!
  • Jenny, your before and after pictures are absolutely amazing! You look like an entirely different person and look 10 years younger! Congratulations!!!!!!!
  • Lol the sad part is I'm only 25 - so if the weight was aging me 10 years, I might look prepubescent by the time I drop the next 76 pounds, hahaha!
  • I'm doing well everyone! Thanks for asking!
  • Hey everyone. Just stopping in quick.
This week has been so stressful and it's only TUESDAY? Handed in some major assignments today and I expect things to lull a bit before finals start up at the end of the month.

Was having a hard time keeping on plan this weekend-- TOM makes me really emotional, add to it stress and this crappy weather and all I wanted was comfort food. I managed to keep half of the day on plan and managed to drink all my water-- which really helps me keep on plan.

Hope all is well with everyone!
