  • You're going to end up loving the elliptical, I just know it. Soon, you'll be a glutton for punishment just like the rest of us, and getting up to an hour on that thing!
  • I'm lmao over here. My experiences with the hades invented thing was very similiar to yours. I still avoid it, swearing I'll try it one day. Instead I find I lean more towards outdoor running. Just to avoid the idiot machine sitting there staring at me.
  • I call it noodle legs. Once I when I got off of the elliptical I had to grab hold of a weight machine because my noodle legs couldn't keep me standing!

It gets better everyday that I go though. I can do 30-45 minutes now.
  • sorry but i really lol when i read this .. that was totally me the first time .. i did it for a minute then i stopped and knew i could go no longer .. i stood on the machine thinking my legs wouldn't allow me to get off and walk .. i managed but i felt totally weird walking .. i would of loved to see what i looked like walking across the gym .. lol it does get easier though .. i haven't been to the gym in a few weeks but the last time i went i made it up to 45 mins just pace yourself don't get on and move like your running a marathon start out slow
  • ROFLMAO.... I recognize the pink roadrunner... I think she is at my gym. I never thought of pushing her off...on accident of course! I always stick to the end of the rows. I hate when one gets on a equipment next to me. I sneak peaks at their level and try not to get depressed at how slow I feel like I'm going. But keep in mind... slow and steady wins the race... we can trip the roadrunner when she walks by...
  • Ok, you were right, I went back to the one that started all of this. It was actually EASIER,,,, and that is after 40 minutes on the treadmill. I still only lasted three minutes but I didn't feel as if I would need two of the muscle hunks to carry me to my car. Thanks for the encouragement, I will definitely do it again!
