  • I was a 20, now I fit into 18s. I don't want to get any smaller than a size 12. Once I reach a 12, I want to focus of maintaining and being a very fit and toned 12.
  • This is really interesting....keep the answers coming! Haha...for some reason I'm able to put pant size in perspective easier than trying to visualize height-to-weight.

Keep in mind that the lower you go, the smaller the difference there is between pant sizes. Between an 18 and 16, it might be 20lbs. Between an 8 and 6, it's probably closer to 10lbs. So you'll lose pant sizes faster as you get smaller. Of course, it's not an exact science because everyone loses weight differently and stores have different sizing.

I'm really hoping I'll be a 6 after 10-15lbs. I do NOT want to be a stick figure, and I think anything lower than a 6 would be icky on me. I'm still skinny fat, so I need to tone up. I want to be a toned, yet curvy, 6....I can dream, right? haha
  • Then: Tight 26 (was probably a 28 but didn't own any)

Now: Loose 14... 12 if it has give.
  • Original pant size was a 16/18

After losing first round I was wearing a 2, that was @135#

I'm now wearing an 8 but my goal is of course to get back down to a 2/4 so I can fit into all of my cute clothes again.

And believe me I won't let myself go again. Wearing sweats all the time sucks!!!
  • Wow, Brendansmum, that's really small!

    My goal is about 135-145 (wherever a 6 is), I can't imagine being a 2 at 135. I'm HOPING to be in a 6 at 140, lol. And I'm a bit taller than you.
  • I started out at an 18 and now I'm fitting 6s with some 4s but I'm mainly wearing 8s because I thought that was as far as I wanted to go and bought loads of beautiful sz8 clothes.

(I'd like to be able to zip up regular knee high boots but it doesn't look like that's ever going to happen for me, which is a shame because I've bought a couple of pairs of those too!)
  • Trudiha: I share your sentiment! I'd LOVE to wear some knee high boots.
  • I started out size 16/18. I now wear size 6. My goal was a size 6 but I don't feel I'm done losing weight yet (8-10 more lbs) so I may end up in a tight size 4. Also, size 6's are bigger than they were the last time I was a size 6...which was seven years ago. I believe if I was still wearing the same clothes I wore 7 years ago I'd probably be an 8. Of course I gave away all my skinny clothes from back then... wish I had kept them!
  • I started in size 12's and I'm still in them. They really don't feel any different to me but I did have my appendix out last month and have some abdominal swelling form the surgery. I did just get started on my weight loss too. I would be thrilled to be a size 8.
  • started in a 16 and am now in a 10 which was my original size goal. However now I think an 8 or a 6 would be good.
  • I started out at a 20W. Now I wear a 6-8 depending on the store. I'd like 6 to be my top size, so probably 4-6.
  • mkendrick,

I had been big all my life I had never really wore a small size, always a 14 or so. My mom is really small, short (5 foot barely) and tiny frame (she always wore a 0) so I guess I had it in me somewhere. I know when I finally got to goal I was only there a couple days, I had a hard time maintaining 135 so I was more like 137-140. Hope you make your goal, I'm not sure your body structure but you may get to a 2 or 4 by the time your done.
  • I started out in an 18W, which is tough to find long enough when you're my height! Near the end, they were really tight so I think I do have a pair of 20W that I bought. My work slacks are all 14 and are pretty baggy but 12 slacks are still too tight. All my jeans are 12's now.

My goal that I tell people is size 10. My secret goal is 8 but I also have to be wary of not looking too skinny. Not yet, of course, but when I get to my final goal (I will probably adjust it when I lose this last 10 pounds).
  • Then: I was down to two pairs of work pants size 16W and two pairs of jeans size 16(I think they were pretty stretched out.).

Now: Generally a size 8, some size 6s. I usually shop in thrift/consignment stores, rather than regular stores, so I don't really know what size I am. I don't like my pants too tight. Since every brand is different I'm guessing that I'm a 6-8. I always try everything on before purchasing. I'm wearing a pair of 10s right now and they're getting a little too big but it's TOM and they are my only pair of black work pants, if you get my drift.
  • I started at a 22w and some 24w fit. I'm now a 20w. My goal is a 10. I know my genetics and most women in my family are somewhere between 6-10. Yea I was the only one that got to SWOLE. It may change but not by too much my breast are already decreasing.
