  • Thanks for posting this. I'm just a few days into this and considered measuring, but this is the motivation I needed to go out and get a measuring tape and get my starting measurements. It will be awesome to watch that bit change. Thanks. And congrats on your inches lost!!
  • I've noticed that on diets that restrict carbs (good or bad), I seem to lose from the head down - anyone else notice this?
  • MMCK - I think it's pretty classic...you put on weight from the bottom (LOL!) up, and remove it in the opposite manner.

I took measurements too, it was amazing to see!!

One of my favorite NSV with measurements is: my mom made me scrub tops for work. They didn't fit . "I hade the model still set on your measurements from college". MOM - I've had TWO babies since then!! Now, those scrub tops have a few inches to spare. Love it!!
  • Okay..I'll post the good news here too...I couldn't find this thread the other day. Thanks Cottage!

In the last month I've lost a total of 11 3/4 inches!! I measure my upper arm, bust, waist, gut, hips and upper thigh. It's so exciting and encouraging to see not only the scale moving in the right direction....but also the measuring tape!!

That's fantastic! Keep up the great work, jyoyo!
  • I wish I would have measured my knees. :lol : It sounds funny, but since I'm at a point where pounds come off more slowly I look for other signs of progress. The other day I had just showered, and glancing in the mirror my knees now have dimples-they're not totally fat anymore. I really feel I keep noticing small changes the longer I stay OP.
