  • BigMac I would just about kill for one. I guess I could walk the 2 miles to get it, eat it and walk the 2 miles back home. But when i look at it that way its soooo not worth it.
  • I crave Reuben sandwiches, bread, potatoes, pizza and confetti cake with strawberry icing. I don't know what it is about these foods, but if I'm around them, I'm gonna eat them...

I bought some of the LC pizzas for when I absolutely HAVE to have pizza....

and I only keep whole grain wheat bread in the house... I used to LOVE to tear the crust off of white sandwich bread and roll the bread into a ball and eat it...

    Lol...

I want some cake now... But, I'm going to settle for yogurt and fresh fruit!
  • Terre----

Woohoo for Poteau, OK! Represent! I'm originally from Hobart, OK, and then moved to OKC.... but now I live in PA!
  • dolphinea- Some things do lessen over time. I use to be a sugar addict and since I quit having I have quit wanting it.
  • my triggers are takeout pizza, ice cream, cookies & sometimes chocolate
  • PIZZA!!!! BUT Nothing taste as good as thin feels!
  • I'm surprised how many people said hamburgers. I eat a small hamburger from McDonalds (I like their big & tasty) or at home, on a regular basis, and I'm losing weight.

I skip the cheese and mayo and of course -- the french fries.
  • My husband and I live on the road in an 18 wheeler. We have food storage issues and limited room in a tiny fridge. We buy Member's Mark or Bistro Sensations, both brands make a chicken-mozzarella-garlic sausage that is fabulous and only 11-120 calories each. These work well for us, I slow cook husband's potatoes and sausages in what we call lunchbox ovens (a 12 volt appliance) and have a really great hot meal for dinner.

I have noticed that the more "savoury" a food tastes and the more I feel the urge to continue tasting something really good, a trick that helps me is to stop the flavour by eating something else. For instance, eating an orange right after my allotted meal, stops that craving for more dinner. It changes the taste.
  • I am a pizza fanatic. I LOVE Domino's Philly Cheesesteak pizza and have been dying for it. However, we found a decent LC homemade pizza crust and we just make our own pizza. The whole thing has about 1100 calories or so. I make a big salad and eat it with the pizza. I usually only eat about 1/3 of the pizza and adjust my daily calories for it. It takes care of the craving and it is SOOOOO good. I've done amazing though. Almost a full month on this and haven't cheated one time. Go me! And I've lost 16lbs. I never thought I could stay committed for so long. Also, I love ice cream, but if I must have some it then I have a skinny cow. They are so amazing.
