Contemplating a breast reduction is what made me finally decide to lose weight. My boobs definitely got larger as I gained weight over the years (I'm 48) so I figured I should try getting down to a normal bmi before putting myself through surgery. Plus, I was worried about ending up with breasts that were too small if and when I ever decided to lose weight. I started out as a 38DD at 190 pounds and am now a 34DD and couldn't be happier. Even though it may not seem like my cup size has changed, my breasts are markedly smaller and I love them now, even if they are still on the large size. I had a professional fitting after I lost the excess weight and now realize that I probably should have been in a 38J when I weighed 190. I was just wearing 38DDs because that was the largest size I could find at Kohl's. Now I know that you can find larger sizes at certain department and specialty stores. I say get to your goal weight and THEN decide if you want to have surgery. Even if your cup size doesn't change that much, the measurement around your chest will change a lot and that will definitely change the shape of your chest and the shape of your body.

At my high weight I was wearing a 38DDD, which did not fit well at all. After losing weight I definitely think my boobs shrank, but not that much compared to how much my ribcage measurement shrank since I got rid of all the back fat. I now wear a 32FF or sometimes a 30G depending on brand. It sounds like I got bigger from the cup sizes, but more it is just that I had a bra that did not fit well at all when I was heavy because I hadn't been measured properly. I probably should have been in a much larger cup at my high weight and a slightly smaller band.
I still think about getting a breast reduction. I'm still young and I have no children, so I have kind of been planning to wait and see what happens after I have kids some day and then have a reduction if I still feel like I need it. I have to say though, having a well-fitted bra makes all the difference in the world. My boobs look smaller with a good bra, and it's much more comfortable.
I've noticed from past weight loss that my breast usually go down at least a size. I agree with everyone else if u gained weight in your breast when u were gaining, u should lose it when u start to lose. Just be patient and keep up the weight loss.
The first 2 places I start noticing I lose weight is my boobs & face. When I am at a healthy weight my boobs actually aren't that big... thank goodness! They are in the way right now (shirts don't fit right, some exercises are harder to do, etc...) I can't wait till my boobs start shrinking again!
Oh golly, I've had such huge changes in boob size. I've ALWAYS had huge boobs - I'm 5'0'', and even at 95 pounds, I still wore a 32D! At my highest weight (179), I wore a 40DD, and now at 146, I wear a 38D. I bet I'll get down to a 36C when I hit my goal of 125.
If you have big boobs, you have big boobs. They'll just change proportionally with your weight. I'm more concerned about my butt! I've always had a nice curvy butt, but it keeps shrinking! My husband is a butt man in the extreme, and I don't want it to get too small! He'd be so bummed.
